Holly Willoughby is constantly on our TV screens. But the mum of two has revealed she’s cut back her working schedule this year to make more time for her family.
The 32 year old has dropped The Voice UK and her partnership with Very from her schedule in order to spend time with her children with TV producer husband Dan Baldwin.
The mum of two has revealed she’s cut back her working schedule this year to make more time for her family
‘Something that’s very important to me is keeping my work/life balance right,’ Holly told the Express. ‘I love my job but I love my family too, and while I enjoy doing The Voice and it’s been a brilliant show, time is precious.’
Speaking of her son Harry, four, having his first day at school, Holly says, ‘I was fine about it until the actual first day. I think that comes with being quite busy – you sort of put things on hold and deal with them when you need to. And then on the day, I really shocked myself at how emotional I was.’
Holly and Dan also have a two-year-old daughter Belle and the couple are hoping for one more baby.
‘I would like to have another one,’ admits Holly. ‘If I’m lucky enough, but I don’t know when. I’ll just have to wait and see. I’ve always thought three would be nice but you never know what’s going to happen, do you?’
But it could be the couple’s combined busy schedules that will put their family expansion plans on hold for the time being. ‘You can do your best to make sure it doesn’t happen but trying to make sure it does happen is a different thing,’ Holly says.
