Kate’s still suffering from the pregnancy-related illness, which has now caused her to pull out of four royal appearances
The Duchess isn’t yet able to resume her royal duties. Since revealing she’s suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum for the second time (she was diagnosed with the illness when pregnant with George, too), Kate’s kept out of the limelight.
Due to appear at the launch of The Clore Art Room at Barlby Primary School in London yesterday, the Duchess, 32, was unable to attend because of acute morning sickness.
The Duchess did provide a message on the Prince Of Wales website, saying, ‘I am truly sorry that I cannot be with you all today as you celebrate this milestone. As Patron of The Art Room I feel great pride to see the work that the charity is doing.
Vulnerable children flourish in the safe havens that The Art Room provides; this highlights just how important it is to support children at a time when they most need help and support.’ You can read the full message of support here.
Kate recently pulled out of her first solo trip abroad, to Malta, which Prince William attended in her place. She was also due to attend an event in Oxford recently.
In fact, the last time Kate was seen in public was at an event at the Tower of London in August, where she opened a poppy installation to commemorate 100 years since World War II.
We wish Kate a speedy recovery!
