Celebrity babies of 2020

Following their hugely popular documentary 'Kate and Rio: Become a Stepfamily', the married couple delighted fans in June by sharing an adorable video of the Ferdinand children finding out about Kate's pregnancy. They've also recently revealed that they're expecting a baby boy!

She recently took to social media to update fans on her pregnancy progress, revealing that she tore her stomach muscles back in October.

The mum to be was answering a Q&A on her Instagram Stories when a fan asked, "How are you feeling? I'm 9 days overdue and struggling!!"
Alongside a mirror snap of her speedily growing baby bump, Kate replied, "I'm surprisingly not feeling too bad the last few weeks. I'm tired but have been feeling much better."

She went on to explain that she tore her stomach muscles around six weeks ago and was told to rest. She said, "I found that really difficult... and my mind was all over the place!!"

One of the few Love Island stars still coupled up, popular duo Camilla and Jamie who met on the reality show back in 2018 recently announced that they have welcomed their baby daughter Nell Sophia Jewitt into the world - and she's totally adorable!

Writing on Instagram, Camilla said: 'Nell Sophia Jewitt, 4:32am, 27th October, 6lb 5oz. There may be a thousand new photos on my camera roll, but none of them could ever do justice to the way you have lit up our lives 🥰'

After six rounds of IVF, Paloma Fait announced she was pregnant with her second child with partner Leyman Lahchine in late September. The singer wrote on her instagram:

Announcing the news of her pregnancy in serious style, singer Katy broke the news in the music video for her song 'Never Worn White' where she revealed her glorious bump after months of hiding it from her fans. "I thought I would tell you guys in the best way through a piece of music", she told excited fans in an Instagram Live. Katy then went on to confirm the couple were expecting a baby girl in April with a photo on Instagram of fiancé Orlando's happy face covered in pink icing.

Katy and Orlando went on to welcome their newborn daughter Daisy Dove Bloom on Wednesday the 26th of August. The couple announced the news through charity Unicef alongside a donation page writing: ⠀

“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter.” ⠀

“But we know we’re the lucky ones and not everyone can have a birthing experience as peaceful as ours. Communities around the world are still experiencing a shortage of healthcare workers and every 11 seconds a pregnant woman or newborn dies." ⠀

TV presenter and DJ Vogue Williams already shares a son, Theo, with husband Spencer Matthews and in March 2020 she confirmed the couple were expecting their second child, a daughter and was five and a half months pregnant. Vogue announced the birth of her daughter on the 22nd of July, later revealing the name the couple had chosen a few days: Gigi Margaux Matthews."When we were discussing names I thought, 'I want to want her name', and I do. I just love it. I wish I was called it myself," says Vogue. "We decided on it ages ago and as soon as we saw her, we knew it suited her. She is so perfect. I am obsessed with her."

The Orange is the New Black star gave birth to her second child, a boy, with husband Ben Foster in February 2020. Announcing the happy news on Instagram alongside an adorable picture of mum and baby, Laura wrote 'Welcoming home our new bundle of love. Overwhelmed with gratitude.' While the baby is known to be a boy, Laura has yet to share the name of her son, telling PEOPLE magazine: 'We make all those decisions as a family. Petra Ecclestone welcomed her first child, a daughter, with fiance Sam Palmer back in March 2020. After 2 years of unsuccessful tries and 2 consecutive miscarriages, Strictly Come Dancing's professional Iveta Lukosiute gave birth to her second baby, a daughter Ilana Raytses, on the 25th of April 2020. The dancer already shares a son, Vidas, who turned three in September, with husband Jenya Raytses.

The former EastEnders star confirmed she had given birth to a healthy baby boy with her fiancé Robert Brendan in March. Melissa revealed the baby's name to be River Jefferson Carter-Robinson and called him "perfect". The actress regularly shares adorable photos of her son over on Instagram, gushing: "He’s very squirmy and desperate to move about and sit up. Ex-Hollyoaks actress Ali Bastian and her husband David O'Mahony revealed the birth of their baby daughter Isla Rose to HELLO! magazine in April. Isla, born on 12th of March, was born as You've Got a Friend by Carole King came on the couple's birth playlist. "David was in Beautiful, the Carole King musical, when we first met so it was a huge part of the beginning of our relationship. It was a really special moment," Ali told HELLO!

After being told by doctors that she had one per cent chance of conceiving, Former Celebs Go Dating star Nadia Essex announced she was pregnant with a 'miracle' baby on Instagram, "Never been so scared of a magazine coming out as this. While it’s nice to be in our own little bubble, you can’t help but be affected by what’s happening. My mum was only allowed on the ward for ten minutes following his birth, and wasn’t even able to have a cuddle with her grandson. In hospital, I remember the hand sanitiser from my bedside had been stolen – it all felt so surreal. I’ve had little contact with people, which has been tough, but I understand it’s for the best."

Ola told HELLO!: "It was so overwhelming I started crying. It was a mix of anticipation and fear of the unknown and a flood of emotions that my baby was finally on her way, after all the years of longing."

Former TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh gave birth to her first child with fiancé Ryan Thomas in March 2020. Annoucing the exciting news on Instagram, she shared a picture of her son's baby's hand and wrote: "Roman Ravello Thomas 💙." Roman joins the family which includes Ryan's daughter Scarlett from his previous relationship with Coronation Street actress Tina O'Brien.

TOWIE's star Lydia Bright introduced her baby daughter Loretta Rose to the world in March. Born on the 21st of February, Loretta weighed in at 7lbs 11. "I'm still on a massive high at the moment. I'm not even struggling with the sleep! I'm loving the night feeds," Lydia told HELLO! magazine.

Jeremy Kyle, 54 and his fiancée Vicky Burton welcomed a baby boy in January 2020. The new arrival is bound to be a huge joy after the TV host experience a difficult year in 2019 which saw the cancellation of The Jeremy Kyle Show.

Khloe Kardashians best friend Malika took to Instagram to share the news of her son's birth writing: ‘Ace Flores 3.14.2020.’

Supermodel Ashley Graham and husband, Justin Ervin became parents in January, sharing on Instagram: "At 6:00PM on 01/18/2020, we welcomed 7lbs 5oz of love into our world." Actress Danielle Panabaker and her husband Hayes Robbins are expecting their first baby. Danielle broke the news on Instagram as she posted a picture onto her feed where she was 'eating for two'.

Actor Chris Pratt is expecting his first child with wife Katherine after the couple married in 2019. Chris already has 7-year-old son Jack with his ex-wife Anna Faris. Praising her husband on his birthday and Fathers Day, Katherine wrote on Instagram: 'I thank God every day for you. Blessed to live life with you, watch you grow, and one of the greatest gifts has been watching you be the most loving and fun father.'
