Carly is a freelance writer for Mother&Baby. She’s a first time mum-to-be and is navigating her new journey towards motherhood, while being passionate about supporting new parents and those trying to conceive. Carly loves spending time with her husband and two dogs, and is looking forward to bringing their first baby into the mix.
She graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2018 after studying journalism and started working for Daily Star on their Showbiz desk. In the years since, Carly also worked as a local reporter, meeting with new business owners and supporting local charities, before returning to Daily Star and becoming Deputy Showbiz Editor. Carly now works as Showbiz Editor for Daily Express, but loves to spend time writing for the team at Bauer in the form of reviews, first person pieces and features.
