Damon Marriott

Joie’s Head of Product Management, Damon Marriott has been working in the baby gear industry for over 25 years having started his career as a service engineer - rebuilding used pushchairs from his Dad’s garden shed. His interest, in baby gear, grew and he moved into a more professional capacity as an independent nursery retailer and official repair/service centre for wheeled goods. Damon then expanded his knowledge into the car seat sector, starting in sales before moving into an advisory capacity with the local authority, police, road safety and trading standards, advising on safe and legal car seat use & installation.

Using the knowledge he had gained over the years, Damon changed direction, putting his efforts into improving the products available on the market, making them safer and more user-friendly. He joined Joie in 2014, progressing to his current role of Head of Product Development.
