Dr. Vikram Murthy
Dr. Vikram Murthyis a highly experienced General Practitioner (GP) and co-founder of Harley Street Clinic. He covers all aspects of health including women’s health. Born at St Thomas’ Hospital, London, Dr. Murthy has deep roots in the city, and his medical career began at St George’s Hospital Medical School in Tooting. He completed his training at St. Bart’s and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, where he gained a comprehensive understanding of various medical specialties.
Throughout his career, Dr. Murthy has accumulated a wealth of experience across multiple fields, including sports medicine, emergency medicine, and whole-body health. His early work included serving as a medical officer at motor racing circuits such as Lydden Hill and Brands Hatch, and spending nearly a year in Emergency Medicine, where he developed the ability to manage a wide range of urgent medical situations. His qualifications in Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) further underscore his capability in handling emergencies.
As a GP, Dr. Murthy is dedicated to providing holistic care, addressing everything from routine health checks to specialised women’s health issues, including cervical screenings and reproductive health. His role as a GP Partner in the NHS allows him to supervise and train junior doctors, while his private practice on Harley Street serves a diverse and distinguished clientele, including celebrities, business leaders, and sports figures.
With over 9 years of experience in both the private and public health sectors, Dr. Murthy is committed to fostering long-term relationships with his patients, guiding them through their health journeys with compassion and expertise.
