Eleanor (Ellie) is the Deputy Homes & Garden Product Editor for Yours, Take A Break Pets and Modern Gardens. In this role, she oversees the best-of listicles, how-to guides and product reviews across homes, gardens, pets and everything in between.
Ellie joined Bauer Media Group in 2017 and previously worked as a writer and assistant within the Yours Commercial Team, hosting events and recommending the best products for readers for the past six years.
For two years, she was focused on titles such as Mother&Baby and Yours. As a writer, she was constantly researching and recommending the best products for parents, from breast pumps to baby bath products, nursery décor to car seats. She also kept a keen eye on celeb mums and influencers to share what they've been using to help make parenting that little bit easier. With favourites from Molly-Mae, Stacey Solomon, Mrs Hinch and Camilla Thurlow, Ellie is an expert in searching socials for those most-loved products you need to know about.
In her spare time, Ellie loves to read (the bookshelves are a staple in her home), go to gigs, and try out new crafts - she’s prepared to turn a dab hand to anything that looks good in the home. She was also a part of Girlguiding UK for 25+ years, running games, crafts and sessions for the Brownies. This included hosting sessions over Zoom during the pandemic - as you can imagine, this definitely required some creativity and know-how to keep the girls entertained!
