Meet Kaylee Kennedy! A lifelong swimmer and dedicated swim instructor, Kaylee’s passion for teaching swimming grew even stronger after having her two children. In the fall of 2014, she founded Saskatoon Swim School, now known as K&K Swim School. The school quickly expanded across Saskatchewan and Alberta.

However, in March 2020, the pandemic forced the closure of K&K Swim School’s facilities, disrupting the progress of many young swimmers. Undeterred, Kaylee leveraged her passion and experience to create a unique curriculum designed to nurture and develop each baby’s abilities and strengths. This innovative curriculum evolved into watermellow, a fully online swim school that empowers parents to teach their babies to swim at home.

Our lessons begin in the bathtub, providing a safe and comfortable introduction to water, and gradually progress to the pool. At watermellow, we believe parents and caregivers play a crucial role in fostering their baby’s love for the water. Our instructors not only teach babies but also guide parents and caregivers on how to teach their little ones, fostering a stronger connection with the water. Our lessons focus on developing swimming skills while equipping parents and caregivers with knowledge that will support their baby’s swimming journey for years to come.
