The most popular baby names from 2021

2021 may have been and gone but the Office for National Statistics has shared the top baby boy and girl names that we were all loving and choosing for our little one's last year.

The research found that Noah was the most popular baby boys' name in 2021 in England and Wales, replacing Oliver from the previous year and Henry replaced Jack in the top 10 names for boys.

For the most popular girls' names in 2022, Olivia kept the top spot for the sixth year in a row while Freya, Florence and Willow replaced Isabella, Rosie, and Sophia from 2020's list.

New entries to the top 100 this year include Lara, Beatrice and Sara for girls and Blake, Brody, Kai, Rupert, Tobias and Nathan for boys.
