Jackson Reece Kinder by Nature at a glance:
Our panel of mum testers loved the fact these wipes were moist, didn’t rip, and the fact they were biodegradable. They are a little on the wet side, so you might have to wait for them to dry before re-dressing your baby.
We spoke to these real parent testers to get their review...
How did this product make your life easier?
Annie: The water wipes came in attractive packaging and it was lovely to know that I was using something gentle on my baby's skin. Whilst my baby doesn't have any particular skin irritations, I could tell that these were good quality and would be great for a baby whose skin was more sensitive than my baby's.
Jennifer: Baby wipes are an almost essential part of mum-life and knowing that these ones were all natural and kinder to the planet made them an absolute pleasure to use. They left no ‘residue’ that you can sometimes get with baby wipes and my children didn’t even seem to mind getting their faces wiped (which can be a battle with some other brands of wipe).
Would you recommend this to other parents?
Ellen: I would definitely recommend these wipes to a fellow mum. They are suitable from birth and I would recommend them over other top brands of water wipes due to the fact that they are just the right wetness and therefore no too cold when baby is wiped. The packaging is attractive and it’s great to know that they’re environmentally friendly.
Jennifer: As a plastic-free and biodegradable option, I think these wipes are fantastic. They allow for the convenience of a wet-wipe without the guilt of adding to landfill. They were very gentle and after using them, skin felt lovely and clean. There was no ‘tacky’ feel like some wipes can leave on the skin.
Would you choose this product above all others on the market?
Ellen: I would choose this product over other brands as they are gentle on baby’s skin and they only have natural ingredients. They are not too wet and so not too cold when baby is wiped- which could cause them to get upset (which has happened with a leading brand). Also great that they are environmentally friendly. Packaging is attractive.
Annie: If I had a baby with very sensitive skin who clearly benefited from water wipes, and I could afford to spend extra money on this daily item, I think I would choose this product above others on the market. The wipes were easy to use and gentle on my baby's skin, as well as being effective at cleaning.
What changes would you make to this product?
Ellen: There is nothing I would want to change or improve about these wipes. They are just the right wetness, nice and strong and gentle on baby. They do the job they’re meant to so these no complaints from me. I didn’t find that they stuck together more than any other brand and loved how natural they were.
Jennifer: I don’t think the actual product itself could be improved. We loved everything about them. If they were more affordable and more readily available, we would make them our everyday wipe. I totally understand why these wipes cost more but at more than four times the price of the wipes we use, we just can’t afford to switch.
