Joie is a well-known brand of baby gear, whether it’s a car seat, cot or soother, you’re bound to find many parents singing their praises. Dad-of-three Rob Jerram, spoke to two mums to find out about their favourite Joie products.

Kim, a mum of one, is expecting her second, and was really keen to make sure the products were suitable for both her two-year-old, and her new arrival. She particularly liked the ramble XL™ carry cot, as part of the Finiti™ Flex Travel Ready Bundle, as it has a secure, internal compartment for belongings, and it has a great look too.

Rob was also joined by Zoe, who has a 20-month-old, and loved some of the features on the products such as the ability to turn the i-Spin 360™ in any direction, while the portability of the roomie™ Go travel cot was a big win for her too.

i-Spin 360™

It was no surprise that Joie’s super popular i-Spin 360™ car seat was one of their favourites. Suitable from birth to 4 years, the i-Spin 360™ is perfect for parents who are looking for longevity.

The car seat is incredibly easy to install as it has an ISOFIX system, and can rotate, using just one hand, whether your child is forward facing or rearward facing. Zoe told us the spin feature is a ‘game changer’, and we can see why, as it really aids getting your child in and out of the car.

The 5-point harness tightens around its precious load with a simple pull motion, and the car seat comes with a grow-with-me insert, meaning it can be used for a custom fit, right from the beginning. The i-Spin 360™ can also have your child rearward facing until they’re four, something that was important to Kim.

Finiti™ Flex Travel Ready Bundle

The Finiti™ Flex Travel Ready Bundle is the ultimate bundle which includes everything you might need to take your baby or toddler out, from a car seat, complete with base, to the ramble™ XL bassinet for the very youngest, and a forward or rearward facing pushchair for toddlers.

The car seat included in this bundle is the i-Level™ recline, suitable from birth up to 15 months, which can also swivel 90 degrees when paired with the included i-Base encore, allowing for easy access to your tot. The Joie car seat fits easily with the i-Base™ encore, which has an ISOFIX fitting, meaning there’s peace of mind for all parents. As Zoe explained, it can easily be moved from the car onto the pram, allowing you to transfer your baby smoothly.

The Finiti pram itself boasts a UPF 50+ and water repellent canopy, with ventilation, and all wheels have suspension for a smooth ride over curbs and bumpy pavements. Whether you choose to have it forward or rearward facing, the system just needs a quick release and it will fold down easily, ready for storage.

roomie™ go

Joie doesn’t just have a huge range of baby gear to use outside the home, they also have a range of in-home products, which includes their travel cot roomie™ go. This product isn’t just a travel cot however, it can be used as a next-to-me cot until your baby weighs 9kg. The travel cot folds up into a compact unit, which can be put into the travel bag (included). As Zoe, who owns the product explained, it’s easy to fit in the boot of a car, along with all your other necessary things for your family.

Using the roomie™ go as a next-to-me cot is simple, one side drops down, so you can easily attach it to your bed with the strap and clip attachment (included). With five height adjustments, the roomie™ go can be adjusted to match your bed, and the lockable wheels make it easy to move around when needed.

sansa™ 2in1

The sansa™ 2in1 is a multi-motion soother, with a rocker which can be used to sway side to side, front to back, or a combination of the two, as well as working as a portable rocker when off its frame.

There are three reclining positions, five nature sounds and five lullabies to help soothe your baby. Not only does the soother come with a machine washable insert and head support, which was an important feature for Kim, it also comes with a five-point harness to keep your little ones from wriggling out.

The sansa™ 2in1 has the added bonus of being both mains or battery operated, meaning you can take it wherever you go.

versatrax™

Joie’s verstrax™ pram is a versatile 4-in-1 design, which can be used from birth in a lie-flat position, up to approx. 4 years with a forward and rearward facing seat. The full-size canopy also comes with built-in UPF50+, suitable for those hot summer days when you want to get out and about.

The versatrax™ pram can also be paired with the ramble™ XL carry cot, for the littlest ones, or with various infant carriers, meaning it can be used as a full travel system.

You can also say goodbye to bumpy rides with verstrax™’s wheels, which can’t be punctured. Super handy for parents is the large storage basket, something Kim admitted she would be looking for, second time around.
