Is there anything worse than trying to battle with your child in the bath? We know how hard it is to wash your little one's hair. More commonly than not, they (quite understandably) hate shampoo in their eyes and face. But wrestling with a slippery tot while trying to clean their hair is a tricky business. However, mum of two and celebrity cleaning icon, Mrs Hinch, has just found an amazing hack to making washing your bubba's hair much easier.

Mr Hinch playfully mocked his wife's most recent online purchase on his social media account, which has 823k followers. Mrs Hinch explained that the crown-shaped caps were to stop shampoo from hurting her sons Ronnie and Lennie's eyes - whilst still allowing her to wash the children's hair. With that, we were sold. We scoured the internet to find the best shampoo hats. The great news is there are lots of options available, so unlike many products Mrs Hinch recommends, they shouldn't completely sell out.

After scouring through Amazon, we are pretty sure that this is the exact shower cap that was seen on Mr Hinch's story.
Mrs Hinch explained that she picked yellow for Lennie and red for Ronnie.

One reviewer said: "This is good idea, I love it, my little one always have problems with shower, she doesn't like when the shampoo gets in her eyes, but this works really well, fit perfectly for her, not too tight, I'm really happy with it."**

This shampoo hat is made for soft non-toxic silicone. It's suitable for head: 15-24inch/38-60cm and for infants above 6 months.

One reviewer said: "This item is what I have been needing for my seven year old for ages. She hates getting water in her face and ears while having a bath. She cries a lot when it happens. Although this item is a bit fiddly to secure on the head with children with long hair, it works fantastically well. It has made giving my daughter a bath so easy and quick. We get done in so less time that I find it amazing and fabulous. No more tears and no more taking ages to wash her hair."

We love this two pack of shower hats perfect for parents with two children. The pig designs are so sweet and are sure to be a hit with little ones.

One reviewer said: "Very very happy with this product. My daughter no longer cries when I have to wash her hair. She loves the design and like to wear her "hat" in the bath. One very happy mummy and toddler."

If you have three children this pack is perfect. Save the squabbling by getting three shower hats. We we love animal design. If you aren't a fan of Velcro these hats are amazing as they are adjusted with poppers.

One reviewer said: "Great product twin grandchildren worked a treat and the fact their was three distracted them with one whilst putting other on head definitely keeps soap and water from eyes. The girls are on the small side but the adjustable poppers worked great and unlike Velcro doesn't get stuck in hair."

Your little one can bathe like royalty in this crown-shaped shower cap.

One reviewer said: "My little three-year-old boy hates washing hair day. We’ve used it twice and although still not totally happy, it definitely helped a lot. Good quality and smart done. Happy with this product and recommend."

Clippasafe Shampoo Shield
Price: £18.75

Clippasafe Shampoo Shield has been hailed a must-have by online parents. This is one of Amazon's most popular shampoo shields. It is made from neoprene rubber and states that it will fit all head sizes.

One reviewer said: "I needed something for my four-year-old who was having real difficulty with water on his face. It was causing a massive barrier to bathing him, so we tried this and it was miraculous, the difference in his confidence and happiness when washing him. We bought another one to use with our 14 month as the hole is small enough for her but stretched really well for my son's bigger noggin! Definitely worth trying if you're having problems with kids who don't like water on their faces 10/10!"
