For newborns that arrive a little too soon, a new premature baby range has just been launched by George at Asda in association with charity Tommy’s.
Any parent of a premature baby will understand the difficulty of finding clothes to fit your tiny newborn – especially at a purse-friendly price. That’s why here at M&B we’re loving George’s new premature baby collection that’s just launched instore and online.
Premature Baby 3 Pack Sleepsuits, £7, George at Asda
The collection of sleepsuits and babysuits start at £5 for a three pack. They are available in three sizes – up to 3Ib, 4Ib and 5Ib – for added help to find the perfect fit.
Simple but effective, we also adore the tiny premature baby jackets, currently available in three cute designs – and at only £3 a pop. For every sale, 10% is donated to Tommy’s charity (dedicated to research into prevention of miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth) so you’ll be helping other babies and families, too.
We especially love that the premature collection has been designed with the help of midwives and neonatal units. As well as being machine washable and 100 per cent super soft cotton, the seams are non-irritating for delicate skin and using poppers instead of velcro means it’s easier to attach lines and drips, too.
