Shopping update – Pigs in blanket and Candy Cane crisps are now a thing and we’re not sure how we feel!

Crisps

Supermarket giant Tesco have launched a limited-edition range of ‘succulent’ crisps for Christmas, including a Pigs in Blankets’ and Candy Cane flavour. Whether you love or loathe these weird and wonderful new additions, you’ve got to admit they are pretty festive.

Forget ready salted or salt and vinegar, these Tesco finest crisps are a festive treat this year. The Candy Cane crisps are ‘hand cooked crisps seasoned and dusted with a sweet peppermint flavouring for a sweet and salty taste experience’.

On the other hand, the Pigs in Blankets flavour will be a more familiar combo of bacon and sausage, in crisp form. Whether you believe this festive snack should be around all year, or couldn’t think of anything worse, you’ve got to admit these festive snacks are an unusual addition to your Christmas party spread!

What do you think of these two new flavours? Let us know in the comments below.
