Best food gift for Dads
www.cookfood.net
Whether he's a dab hand in the kitchen or can barely cook beans on toast, there's no denying that a new Dad is likely to be spending more time in the kitchen while Mum's recovering. So both parents might be thankful for a New Parents Meal Box from COOK. These frozen meals are cooked fresh and by hand so they're nutritious and tasty, but they can also go straight from freezer to oven so they're perfect for time-poor, exhausted Dads who want to make sure they're still providing healthy meals for all the family.
Our Digital Writer, Rebecca, tried them out with her family and praised the quality of the ingredients and flavours, as well as the ease. "Not only was the COOK Roasted Vegetable Lasagne far better than any other 'ready meal' I've ever had, it was better than any restaurant version, and certainly better than I could make myself." Her husband favoured the meatier option of the Beef Bourguignon which he noted was "incredibly rich and full of flavour. You can really taste the wine and it definitely seems as if it's been made with care, and without scrimping on ingredients."
New Parents can also get 10% off COOK meals for 12 months so they can stock up the freezer for those days and nights when they run out of time and energy to cook.
Pros
- Fresh and handmade meals that are tasty and nutritious
- Can go straight from freezer to oven so easy to prepare
Cons
- Will take up space in the freezer so they might have to make space

If dad loves his car, then this Car Seat Organiser is a must. It's no secret that babies require a lot of products, and during car journeys, as they get older, they will need places to pop their drinks, snacks and toys to keep them entertained. Rather than having things thrown all over, you can keep essential baby products close by (such as wipes, muslins and spare nappies) and help your car stay tidy. one thing to note is that if you use a rear-fqacing car seat, it can't be placed behind it.

Finding the time to cook delicious meals is often low on the priority list. Some might think the recipes are a bit basic, but we think this'll suit new dads who are sleep-deprived anyway!
Mother&Baby writer, Hannah James, said: " I wanted to inspire my husband to help with the household jobs without it turning into a disagreement. Best humorous book for dads
This is a sweet book which dad will enjoy reading with baby. It's funny too because, more often than not, babies do say 'dada' first and so it makes a nice gift between partners to show there will be no hard feelings if 'mummy' is not baby's first word. A great book for all the family.
Review: 'It's cute and sweet. Ok don't really expect your babies first word to be Dada on reading it. But I have sent this to many an expectant/new father and it's at least brought joy to their sleep deprived souls. The drawings are simple and pleasant with some nice little extras thrown in.'
