Long gone are the days of baby clothing having to be made from terry cloth, with Peter Pan collars, smocking, bloomers and embroidery (unless you're in the Royal family, that is). Instead, clothing for babies and toddlers tends to be just as - if not more so - stylish than our own wardrobes. If you're a fan of animal print, we've popped together the best animal-print baby clothes for your little one.

Animal-print clothes, particularly leopard-print, have been popular in grown-up circles for years. I bet you've got at least one pair of leopard-print pumps in your shoe cupboard. Or, maybe you've considered some safari decor.

And now, baby clothing retailers have caught up. You can buy a massive range of animal-print outfits for your little ones. Whether you're looking for leopard-print leggings or zebra-print PJs, there's something for every adventure.

We've been scouring the online shops to find our favourite animal-print baby clothes. We've thrown in a few toddler outfits for luck, too. You'll find a few styles from H&M with its range of leopard-print baby outfits.

OK, it’s not exactly baby clothing, but it’s still amazing.

One thing we wish we'd bought more of with our little one is leggings - they're not just cute, but practical too, and you can pair them with all sorts of outfits. Again, we'd wear these ourselves. Available from newborns to six months to two to three years.

We simply cannot get over how cute these are. Add a vibrant feel to their footwear with these fun animal print pumps. The design includes rip tape fastening across the foot for a secure fit. M&S' Freshfeet™ finish prevents odour and provides all-day comfort.

A bright, colourful leopard-print romper; great for warmer months or layer up for autumn and winter. Plus, it comes with a matching headband.

Finally, we wanted to share this leopard-print changing bag. It’s sturdy, waterproof, and has plenty of room for everything you need for your baby on the go. It has a separate compartment for bottles and can be worn in various ways. Oh, and it’s just so pretty.

Before we go any further, if you have a baby, you need bibs. And if your little one doesn’t have any other animal-print clothing, at least they’ll have these to set off any outfit.

If you're after a more subtle animal print options, what about this one from Bonds? Made from comfy stretchy cotton, it has a two-way zip which means you can change your baby fast. It has a protective zip cover so their delicate skin stays safe.
