Maria Martin is the Online Editor for Mother&Baby, overseeing all content from your baby's week-by-week development to guiding you through those toddler tantrums. She is a biker, mama-of-two who enjoys baking and taking her little ones to messy play. Maria's focus is around breastfeeding, post-partum depression and weaning. Having worked with Mother&Baby for 4 years and with over a decade of digital publishing experience, Stephanie Spencer is Hub Editor for Mother&Baby and a mum-to-be. Specialising in Mother&Baby's health content, having studied Biosciences at university, she's passionate about mum mental health and wellbeing. Stephanie has presented the Mother&Baby awards twice, and also worked with and interviewed a number of experts and ambassadors across the parent industry. She is currently expecting her first baby and is auntie to four, so she loves discovering products that make parent’s lives easier!

Steven Shaw is currently Mother&Baby's acting Hub Editor while our lovely Stephanie Spencer is on maternity leave. Having previously worked as a Senior Digital Writer on What's The Best covering tech and fitness, Steven has brought his expertise to the Mother&Baby team. Steven has a keen interest in helping parents prioritise their own fitness, health and wellbeing. When Steven isn’t writing, he spends most of his free time keeping his two small children alive. This means his time for his hobbies has been severely curtailed, but he is rapidly becoming an expert on Bluey, Danger Mouse, and all things space-related. When his children don’t require his attention, Steven enjoys keeping fit with an at-home workouts.

Lorna White is the Products Editor and has written for Mother&Baby since 2020. After running the Yours magazine website which specialises in content about caring for kids and grandchildren, she brought her expertise to the UK's #1 leading pregnancy and parenting website. Lorna has a First Class Degree in Journalism and specialises on a range of topics from potty training and nutrition, to everything and anything that will keep your tot occupied as well as keeping you up-to-date on all the best parenting products currently on the market in our buying guides, helping you make all those big purchases on everything from prams and car seats to breast pumps and toys.
Samantha Ball, Mother&Baby's Senior Writer
Samantha Ball is a Senior Writer and freelanced for the Mother&Baby website for two years before joining the team full time. She's a mum of two and currently pregnant with her third baby and loves browsing for the best products and cute outfits. After having her first child while studying a degree in journalism at Sheffield Hallam University in 2017, Samantha graduated with First Class honours in 2019 alongside her son, who joined her for many lectures and assessed magazine pitches. Samantha and her partner then welcomed their daughter in 2021. After freelancing as a content writer for Mother&Baby from 2018 to 2020, Samantha decided to explore other creative work and began freelancing as a newborn photographer and worked as an Ads Manager, running Facebook and Instagram campaigns for small businesses. During her maternity leave, missed the writing lifestyle and she decided she wanted to get back into writing and joined the Family Life team at Bauer, and now writes for Mother&Baby and Yours. Hannah Carroll is a mother of three young boys, and draws upon her comprehensive understanding of all facets of family life to bring true insight into all the products that make running a home easier. Having gained a BA Hons degree in Journalism and Sociology, Keya has worked across national publications including glossy women's mags, Food and Travel, and more recently Muddy Stilettos.
