There are many things we had to give up when our little darlings came into the world and our wages were cruelly slashed and / or sucked into nosebleed nursery fees.
One was little treats like expensive cosmetics. You know, dropping a casual £22 on a cream that made us feel like a very high maintenance woman who was totally worth it.
So hooray for Aldi who have once again come up with the cut-price cosmetics goods.
The budget supermarket has launched Lacura miracle cream, and it can’t just be us who’ve noticed a remarkable similarity between it and fancy Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream.
Heck, smoosh up your eyes a bit and they even look the same.
Aldi’s cream is inspired by the iconic moisturiser, and promises to “protect, moisture and soothe normal, dry and irritated skin”.
The chain also claims that the Lacura Miracle Cream “can be used to soften chapped lips and aid dry cuticles.”
In fact, the biggest difference between the two soothing products is the price. Aldi’s retails at a very reasonable £3.99, compared to Elizabeth Arden’s £22.
As with all Aldi deals, you’ll need to grab them whilst you can as when they’re gone, they’re gone. You can pick them up in stores from Thursday 8 March.
When you’re there, perhaps you’d like to stock up on their Jo Malone inspired range too.
The German supermarket chain has added perfume, body lotion, body wash and body crème to its existing candle and room sprays offering and prices start at a very reasonable £2.99.
We’re sold.
