Would you recommend this to other mums?

Amy: Yes. I would recommend this product. It is easy to make and I love the fact that it is supporting local English farmers in an industry which is in decline. My son happily switched between full-fat cows milk and this product without any hesitation. The container is a nice design.

Kimberley: Yes I would recommend to other mums – the convenience of having some formula in the house if you run out of whole milk. The formula appears to be good quality and my child enjoyed it. The product was easy to use and easy to store away when needed.

Sharon: The product smells less artificial than a lot of baby formulas. The babies like it and we have had no problems with wind or digestion which some formulas can cause. I like the fact it’s fortified with extra nutrients and iron as I feel it gives my babies what they need nutritionally. The packaging is designed beautifully and has a handy scoop design.

How did this product make your life easier?

Rachael: My little one is not the greatest eater as he still prefers milk to food. I like that by having this follow-on formula, he is still getting vitamins and nutrients and I can be sure he is getting what his diet misses out on. He really likes it and has no adverse effects from using it.

Keah: This product makes life easier as a mum because it is quick, easy to store, simple, easy instructions to follow and my son loves it. It gives me 10 minutes to myself in the morning whilst he dunks his biscuits in the milk. The product looks expensive and has all the benefits you need.

Sharon: I wasn't completely convinced about the benefits of a follow-on milk versus cows milk. I was convinced my twins would go onto cows milk at age one. However, after trialling Kendamil follow-on milk we have been converted and will continue using it for the foreseeable future.

Would you choose this product to win?

Julia: I like that this product didn’t taste as sweet as other powered follow-on milk. I think this would be a good transitional milk. It contains pre-biotics and Omega -3 (DHA) which is good for the gut and developing brains. It doesn't contain palm oil which is an environmentally friendly benefit.

Sharon: Having never heard of Kendamil before testing it, I did some online research and found that it is the only baby formula manufactured in the UK. I like to shop locally where I can and support UK businesses. The fact that the product is easy to use, the babies enjoy it and it’s reasonably priced are all bonuses.

Amy: I would choose this product simply on the basis that it is supporting local British farmers. I felt reassured that the product has an assured food standard certificate. Despite being a formula based milk, my child was still getting all the nutrients required for a healthy diet.

What changes would you make to this product?

Kimberley: I would prefer if it was more widely available. It would be good to have ready-made cartons for on-the-go use.

Sophie: I really like the product and I am definitely considering carrying on using it. I am eight-months pregnant so will be looking into the Stage 1 milk in the future. The main negative is that it isn't stocked in local supermarkets.

Keah: I don’t think there is much I would change. It looks amazing, I love the product design and if I found it in my local supermarket I would be inclined to look into the product and find out more. The only suggestion I have is putting a handle on the tin which might make It is easier to carry if you go from place to place.
