At a glance:
Lupilu Organic Baby Fruit Pouches are not only 100% organic, but they also taste fresh and are excellent value for money. If your little one hasn't finished the pouch, you can reseal and put in the fridge up until 24 hours. You also don't have to worry about it leaking all in your bag with the screw cap being very secure.
How did this product make your life easier?
Carolyn: The Lupilu Organic Baby Fruit Pouches were very easy to use, especially when on the go. It was easy to pop in the changing bag, having a resealable lid is great for when our baby didn't finish it in one sitting as the lid could be screwed back on and the pouch can be put in the fridge. Especially with having a toddler and not as much time to prepare food, this pouch meant you can still give your baby nutritious food, even my toddler still likes these pouches.
Valerie: This product makes my life easier as a mum because it's pre-made fruit pouches means I can access quality food for my baby quickly. It meant that I could use the product to produce a variety of meals that were versatile in taste. It also meant I could take a fruit snack pouch on the go, without worrying about what my baby would eat.
Sarah: Fruit pouches are a daily staple in our household whether it is a snack for my two-year-old or part of the weaning process for our 7-month-old. This product fits into our daily routine perfectly, it was easy to mix into porridge for breakfast, easy to throw into the bag for a morning or afternoon snack and can be used on its own as a dessert or mixed with ice cream or yoghurt. The screw-top makes it easy to start and then save for later and it was extremely easy to squeeze out. The taste was lovely and natural and knowing it was organic, gluten-free and 100% fruit made me confident I was providing my children with a healthy product.
Would you recommend this to other mums?
Valerie: Yes I would recommend the Lupilu Organic Baby Fruit Pouches to a fellow mum or a friend because the taste was comparable to other leading baby food pouches on the market. The material of the pouch was robust and did not burst at the bottom of the bad. The pouch was easily opened with the plastic circular knob. The product tasted fresh and I could easily taste the strawberry and apple flavour.
Sarah: I would recommend this product due to its range of uses, as a weaning product as part of the first meals, as a snack for babies and toddlers, as part of a dessert or mixed with other purées/food to create a complete dish. The pouch was strong but easily squeezable and the cap was easy to put on and take off. Our toddler was able to squeeze the contents of the pouch out easily. The design of the packet is also bright and cheerful, making it appealing to children which made it easy to gain their attention to eating it. The price of this product is also amazing, this market is quite saturated but prices can be at a high premium with pouches easily being £1+. The price of this product would definitely attract me.
Katy: A really affordable option with completely natural organic ingredients. The Lupilu Organic Baby Fruit Pouches are also the perfect size for a handbag. They work well for both weaning babies and hungry, grumpy toddlers as a quick, low mess snack on the go, as I discovered! I was also pleased to see the cap was easy to use and also perforated with large holes, making it much less of a choking hazard.
Would you choose this product to win?
April: I think that the price and taste and nutrition are the main factors that us as parents look for when buying convenience foods so when I looked at the information I was glad to see that the price was brilliant and that there's no added sugar, no added thickeners or added water which helps, and even tho the recommended age was 4-6 months I think these are handy for teething babies/toddlers and as a healthy snack for older children.
Katie: I would choose this product above other products on the market mainly because it is so reasonably priced. The Lupilu pouches contain healthy, organic ingredients and my little boy loved the taste of them but they are quite a lot cheaper than very similar products by more well-known brands. They are an easy and convenient way to give my little one some healthy food.
Valerie: I am not sure if I should choose this product above all others since it was comparable in taste to other leading baby food makers. I think the main factor that stood out for me, was the price of the food. At 49p it makes it much easier to stick to a food budget whilst feeding and weaning a baby. However, this is offset by the fact that it is not available for delivery online, which would make a difference to me, since I do find it difficult to get down to the supermarket (I am a mum of three aged under 5).
What changes would you make to this product?
Imogen: I would reduce the sugar content in Lupilu Organic Baby Fruit Pouches, make it mostly vegetable-based rather than fruit-based, my baby will happily eat things that are not sweet so I don't see any reason to be giving her this. If I want to give her fruit then I give her a cut-up piece of fruit and she will eat what she wants, she would never eat the volume of fruit that these pouches contain.
Sami: The design is quite basic, white a white background which doesn't make it stand out on the shelf, so in all honestly, I haven't chosen this item before. I also am not sure if there is a wide variety of products in this range as my local store only stocks this flavour. Changing the colours would make it stand out more.
Carolyn: If I could change one thing about this product is a difficult question to answer as I felt that the pouches were great. Potentially have the option of buying a smaller pouch for when first weaning, although that only lasted a couple of weeks with my son, after which he would demolish the whole pouch!
