Testing the Lansinoh breastmilk storage bags
Here’s what our parents thought, read their review here...
How did this product make your life easier?
Janine Addison says: "Come in a box and a plastic wrapper, so stay sterile even when the box gets bashed and falls apart. Good size pouch for storing the milk, and easy to label so you know the date etc. I like that the bottom folds out to become a pouch that is self standing, easier to use and less likely to spill, and also handier to keep in the fridge before freezing."
Catherine Lovell says: "These breast milk bags have been really handy in beginning my stash of frozen breast milk for when I go back to work. You get a large amount of bags in the pack, so you won't run out in a hurry! They are quick and easy to use. They have a bottom which allows them to stand up in the fridge and a label at the top where you can write the date and amount etc."
Kelly Morris says: "Being able to attach the bag directly to breast pump sells this product to me, this feature is such a time saver and saves the hassle of using a bottle and them pouring into a bag plus the need to sterilise the bottles etc. I like the fact the bag stands up once full (and even half full) which makes freezing easy and its space saving."
Would you recommend this product to other parents?
Jenette Neal says: "I would recommend this product to any new mum because it is super simple to use and made of quality materials. The handy markers on the packet show just how many ounces are in the bag and it’s really easy to write on. The fact you can pump right into the bag saves loads of time and effort. They are easy to store too."
Jennifer Orr says: "I would recommend them as you can see the amount of milk is inside the bag, along with the accessibility to the bag. It's also good, if other people are using the milk when you are not there, they will easily being to give the baby the amount of milk they need without any extra confusion. Then seal up when they are done, keeping the milk fresh for future use."
Stacey Pollington says: "I would recommend this product. The value for money is very good for pack size and they are widely sold everywhere. They don't take up much space when storing in the box and when full of breast milk. The quality is good and quite thick and durable and i didn't have the worry them breaking. The design is plain and simple which I like."
Would you choose this product above all others on the market?
Naushaba Rauf says: "I liked that the bags did exactly as they intended to do. They were great for storing milk, they took up little room in the fridge freezer and they were of a good quality. In all honesty there was not much differentiating these storage bags from the others available on the market. I perhaps would have been more impressed if I had a lansinoh pump. But I loved that I was not disappointed by them especially since they were used to store precious breastmilk. It's a winner for me."
Hollie Thomson says: "I haven't tried any other brand as I have always loved these. I think this band should 100percent win, I believe if you love a product you should be loyal and this band give me everything I need in breast milk storage bag. The only one thing I will say if I would like to see some.smaller bags for when they are newborn as it seems abit of a waste of the bag and room in the freezer when baby is only drinking smaller amounts per feed."
Natassja Trevail says: "After using these breast milk storage bags, I would definitely buy them over other items on the market, because I feel for the price they are great value due to how easy they are to use, how much easier and space saving they are to store, the ability to write on the front and most importantly the fact that they are reusable, you can easily wash them and they are ready to use again."
What changes would you make to this product?
Janine Addison says: "I think it would be useful if one end was shaped to pour more easily without dribbling down bag, for example if you only want to pour half the milk out of the bag then it can be messy. However all bags I have tried are like this, so maybe something that not many people do. Would also be good if they were easier to wash out and sterilise at home so can be reused."
Catherine Lovell says: "I (and many other mums) would prefer a reusable and eco-friendly option, as I am trying to reduce my use of single use plastic. I have seen reusable milk bags online but it would be great if they were more accessible on the high street and made by popular brands. It would help customers save money and better for the environment too."
Kelly Morris says: "Nothing to change - great as it is. I do like this brand and feel I can trust its products and i haven't been disappointed. Good design and packaging. I would recommend this product to others and for this aware. Again easy to use, clear instructions and details of volume on bag and easy to label up. Easy to use and handle and store."
Jenetter Neal says: "If I could change anything about this product it would probably be the pack size. There are only two sizes available and I would like to have more choice. I also think it might be handy to have a special pen included that will write better on the packet than a standard biro. Maybe add a few different designs too."
