Would you recommend this to other mums?
April: I would recommend the matchstick monkey - it is fun and colourful, easy to pop in the changing bag yet sturdy enough that my son can have a good chew and I don't have to worry that bits will break off. I love the little nobbly bits on the back of the head as I can pop teething gel on it and my son can chew away. It is easy to wash with warm soapy water and the colour hasn't faded at all.
Julie: I have recommended the matchstick monkey to several of my friends. It would be a great gift. It’s cute, funky and something a bit different. The design is great, easy to hold onto, the bumps on the back of the head work well for the bottom teeth and I didn’t have to worry about the length of the legs choking her as she does with a different teether. It's easy to use and easy for baby to hold onto herself as the arms of the monkey are thin enough to grip with tiny hands. It is easy to clean when it gets covered in slobber and food! How did this product make your life easier?
Margaret: My little girl loves her Matchstick Monkey. It is really well designed and easy for my little one to hold on to. You can tell she loves to give it a good chew when her gums are really bothering her. You can put the monkey in the fridge which is so soothing. The toothbrush aspect is great for applying teething gel and teething granules.
Stephanie: What an absolutely fantastic product! I've had three children and have bought several teething toys and similar products. Not only was this the perfect size for my little one's hands but she took to it so well. She really liked the textured side of the monkeys head, it looked like it was such a relief for her to chew on. Her little eyes light up every time she sees it!
Philipa: This is a great toy for teething babies. Although I was initially put off by the monkey design, it has really grown on me. My baby loves it! It has a teething gel applicator which is a great addition and it can be put in the freezer to provide extra relief for a teething baby. It is easily cleaned in the dishwasher or steriliser.

Charlie: I think this product should win as it has been designed well and with babies in mind. Some teethers that are on the market, are not attractive to children, whereas my daughter loves the monkey and plays with it constantly. The range of colours means there is one to suit any child.
Laura: I would choose the Matchstick Monkey to win as it does what it says on the tin - it soothes my daughter's gums when she is teething. I like how straightforward the design is, so when I clean it there are no extra air holes that can harbour germs. I love the bright joyful colours of the monkey and the happy face.
Jennifer: Yes definitely, if this happens to get lost I would buy another in an instant. It should win for its versatility, ease of use and clever design. It is lightweight, small, easy for baby to use and easy for parents to apply the gel to back teeth. It would also make a great gift for something a little different.
What changes would you make to this product?
Margaret: I would not change anything about this product. It is such a great teething toy. It really does give my little girl some much-needed relief. We have had some bad teething weeks and this monkey really helps. There are so many different aspects of the monkey that she can chew. The legs of the monkey are great for reaching the back teeth too. Wouldn't change a thing.
Stephanie: There is nothing I would change about the product itself. However, I would like it if there were more products available or different colours/different animals. My little one would play with this all day so different animals to follow her as she grew would be great.
Sarah: I personally wouldn’t change anything about this product. It is in the right market in regards to price. I really like the unique design, it is fun, modern, baby friendly, practical and unique.
