Would you recommend this to other mums?
Kate: I would recommend this product to a fellow mum. I really like the design and the different aspects of the toy helped keep my little girl entertained from the moment it was opened. It is isn’t too heavy or 'plasticy' and has a really useful carry handle. I like the shape of the product as it seems to sit well on my daughter's lap while she sits and plays and isn't too heavy or cumbersome for her to discard when she no longer wants to play with it.
Kerry: Very easy to transport around as it has a compact design. It may be more suited to younger babies. Ideal for car journeys as there are multiple activities to keep baby occupied. Could also be good for occupying baby on plane journeys as it will easily fit into cabin baggage. The product is easy to clean and easy to use.
Sarah: The toy has a lovely design. It clips over the top of the cot very easily and has lots of different activities for little fingers. It plays music, has sliding mechanisms, little ribbons/tags, a teething star and more. It doesn’t fold but isn’t a big toy anyway. It is excellent quality and can be used to hang on a cot or on the floor.
How did this product make your life easier?
Melissa: This item is lovely and has kept my baby entertained! It is easy to attach to her cot and pram and easy to carry around on car journeys. Lovely quality time which has kept her amused many times. My two-year-old also enjoyed playing with it and I would often have to stop him from taking it away from her.
Jasmin: This product makes my life easier as a mum because I can give it to my daughter on the floor to play with, which she did for a good 10-15 minutes before getting bored. I can also hang it on her bed which she really enjoyed when at this point she would usually cry. The materials are good quality so I know that if there are any accidents on the laptoy it can be easily wiped clean without soaking into the toy or inside the controls.
Michelle: This toy allows my daughter to play happily in her cot while I get other things done. The music is lovely and the different activities for her to explore were great without being overstimulating. Some of these toys can be quite jarring and full of lights and loud noises. This has a good mix of audio but also simple activities such as pulling a ribbon to move the sun or twisting a knob to make a noise. It kept her occupied for a good bit longer than most other toys we've tried.
Would you choose this product to win?
Lauren: I would definitely steer more towards this toy than others on the market. I love the design and the simplicity of the toy. It has so many different things to offer an inquisitive little mind and little hands. The music is a bit questionable in my opinion. For a kids toy, I would have expected something like a nursery rhyme or maybe ABC.
Kate: Aesthetically, this product it really pleasing and it is a nice change to the usual “plasticy” baby toys that are on the market. The features of the toy are very engaging and each aspect seems to enhance a new skill. I liked the little tune the toy plays when the nose of the bear is pressed, it isn’t too loud, irritating and does not play for too long. I think this toy is unique compared to other activity centres on the market.
Sarah: I really like this product. The quality is excellent and it has loads of activities for a baby to use. Mine is nine-months-old and really enjoys it. It doesn’t have hundreds of buttons to press which make annoying noises. It is a brilliant baby toy that I would recommend to others.
What changes would you make to this product?
Elizabeth: I would have more animations. Currently, the only interactive element is the orange button on the bear's nose. You could add lights in other areas of the centre, different buttons/objects to press or pull that create other noises and make it more interesting for the child. Alternatively remove the battery pack altogether - I am not sure it is worth it for one noise/light control.
Melissa: I feel that it is slightly expensive for what it is and the name of the product is a little misleading. An 'activity centre' gives the impression that it is a large stand-up item whereas I considered this to be more of a cot/pram toy. If the price was slightly lower I would consider purchasing, however, I would be more than happy to receive this as a gift as it is a lovely item.
Jasmin: I would like a few more sounds to be played because the three songs on the toy already can become a bit repetitive after a day or so. I do like that they sound like real instruments, so the additional sounds would need to be along the same theme.
