This is a lightweight option with a striking design. The manoeuvrability is good, as is the ride, thanks to the seat’s multi-position recline and calf-support feature. It’s simple to fold and has a sizeable basket. A change bag and fleece-lined footmuff are included, so it’s excellent value too.
Tested by Sarah McIntyre, 35, mum to Leo, six months. She says:
The handle height is awkward – I’m 5’6” and I kept almost stepping on the brake. I had a love/hate relationship with the straps, which detach too easily but fit well over a snowsuit. The basket fits my change bag plus large grocery bag – fantastic! But it’s fiddly to fold and the support is minimal, so Leo sometimes looked like a melting ice cream!
Tested by Sarahjane Welch, 34, mum to Penny, 12 months. She says:
This looks like a prop from a sci-fi film, but it’s excellent value and so manoeuvrable – even round corners and up kerbs. I love the deep seat, even if it’s fiddly to adjust. The basket’s roomy and my older son was delighted it could carry his school bag and PE kit! But the handlebar’s uncomfortable and the closing mechanism gets in the way.
Tested by Alexia Pellowe, 33, mum to Harry, 18 months. She says:
Really compact and manoeuvrable. I’m impressed that the footmuff and raincover are included. The recline mechanism seems basic and I resorted to using a coin to try and free the ‘depress’ button.
The harness is disappointing, as the crotch padding falls off when undone. But overall it’s light enough to lift in and out of the car easily and excellent value.
