At a glance:

The Tula Free-to-Grow Baby Carrier is a fully-adjustable ergonomic baby carrier with variable width and height settings to customise the fit to your growing baby. This carrier does not require an infant insert, has multiple carry positions and fully adjustable shoulder straps and waistband for optimal comfort for you.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Layna: I've shouted from the rooftops about how much I recommend this baby carrier. I couldn't recommend it enough. The Tula Free to Grow was so easy! The instructions are super easy to use and follow making the adjustments for my ever-growing baby easily achievable. The patterns are super stylish and I've received so many compliments on both its practicality and style.

Nicola: Although I really liked this product I wouldn't necessarily recommend this to a friend above others on the market. The fabric and quality of the material used were excellent however I found it difficult to put on when on my own. The options of the various designs of fabric are lovely so if it was from a style point of view I would recommend it.

Kayleigh:  I would recommend this product as it is comfortable stylish and easy to use. I feel as though my baby is well supported as well as being comfortable and supportive for me. The material is strong but soft and feels good quality. The design is stylish and not too complicated. It can easily be packed and transported and is easy to put on.

How did this product make your life easier?

Layna: WOW, this carrier is an absolute game changer! As a sleep-deprived new mum with a clingy baby and older children to run around after, the Tula Free to Grow gave me so much more freedom. I was able to keep my baby happy and close whilst still caring for his big brothers.

Louise: This is an excellent product. The back carrier aspect is great now my little one is 10kg+, it enables me to go for walks where I can't use a pram. Little one finds it very comfortable and even naps in it. Due to its compact size, found it excellent to pack in the suitcase to take on holiday and found the sunshade hood great whilst on holiday.

Kayleigh: This product enables me to get out and do everyday chores that can become difficult with a baby. The carrier enables me to get around easily whilst still feeling close to my baby and keeps me happy knowing they are safe and comfortable. My baby seems to enjoy being in the carrier as he sleeps when he needs to and is also able to look out when he is awake making any trip more enjoyable for him.

Would you choose this product to win?

Geraldine: Yes. Previously I have used other carriers on the market but nothing is as comfortable as the Tula. Both of my children are in the 90th percentiles for both height and weight but don’t have any problems with carrying them using the Tula. As soon as my son sees the Tula come out he wants to be the one to go up.

Layna: I definitely would choose the Tula Free to Grow above others on the market due to its practicality and longevity making it worth every penny! The fact that it is easily adapted to suit from newborn to toddler without the need of additional inserts makes it such a fantastic design. The style means that the baby is always in the correct position without the worry.

Nicola: I think this product has a lot of excellent qualities such as attractive fabric designs, size options to grow with your child and the hood. The quality of the fabric was excellent, the structure of the product felt safe and secure and my baby seemed quite happy once in place so I think this product should win.

What changes would you make to this product?

Kayleigh: The only down is the price, even though it is worth the money, I would hesitate to choose the product with the current price. After using I would highly recommend and not go back to my other products previously owned but as a consumer, I would be put off by the price when living within a tight budget.

Geraldine: The only thing I can think of to improve would be an option to hip carry. I am being very fussy when saying this as I really can’t fault the Tula carrier at all. It fits so well into every situation whether it’s a trip to town, the park or a walk with the dogs. It just does it all and is super comfortable at the same time.

Nassim: There is a storage flap on the front of the waistband. This is a great idea however it is rather small and uses Velcro to open and close. I think it would benefit from a bigger pocket and higher up as accessing it in its current location is difficult. A zip is likely to make it easier to open and close rather than a flap. Another thing that can make the sling better would be if the shoulder straps were a bit wider.
