This smart baby thermometer from Nurofen connects with the Fever Smart app to continuously track your child's temperature. It accurately monitors temperature and a Bluetooth range up to 40m enables you to monitor your child's temperature as they sleep for suitable peace of mind.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Karen: The main reason I would recommend this product is the live connectivity and the peace of mind you get as a parent whilst using the temperature monitor. The product is easy to store and compact. Although the product is a higher cost I don’t think you can compromise on child safety. I would highly recommend this product to all.

Tiffany: I would recommend this product because it is lightweight, easy to use and less stressful for the child. I would also recommend this product because it helps to keep track of illness and temperatures and gives guidance on what to do. The product also uses colour indicators to make the temperature easy to read and understand.

Olivia: I would recommend this product to fellow mums as it is extremely useful in monitoring your child’s temperature during an illness as you don’t have to disturb their well-needed rest. The fact that the product is so small makes it easy for your child to forget they have it on.

How did this product make your life easier?

Natalie: It is a great idea, the idea of being able to track your babies/ child's temperature when they are asleep or in bed without disturbing them is truly a brilliant idea. I hadn't ever heard of it before but it definitely helps if your child is poorly and needs monitoring constantly as it's much easier and faster than a normal thermometer.

Lesley: It doesn’t particularly make my life easier as I have no need for this day-to-day. That being said, if you have a child with medical needs, I can absolutely understand the need for constant monitoring. It would also be useful after injections.

Georgina: This product is a great idea and great design. I like the fact it can constantly monitor to my phone while I am in another room and it tracks symptoms meaning I no longer need to disrupt my child when they are unwell. I can set reminders for me to administer medicine which is important if you are sleep deprived.

Would you choose this product to win?

Karen: Whilst there are many good thermometers on the market, the Nurofen for Children FeverSmart Temperature Monitor provides you further peace of mind. It’s easy to use and the biggest asset is the live connectivity to your phone or device.

Tiffany: Although I feel the product overall is good, I would not choose it over the standard thermometer as I feel the product is too expensive and takes too long to give the temperature. The product needs batteries to work and pads to stick the thermometer onto the child which means that there is a recurring cost.

Natalie: This product does stand out, it is different and fit for purpose but personally I wouldn't choose it because of the price.

What changes would you make to this product?

Cheryl: I think maybe the monitoring strip could be smaller as it can be fiddly to get it in the correct position and maybe a mark on the outside of the strip so you can see where the sensor is being positioned.

Danielle: I wouldn't actually change anything about this product. It is actually a great invention and I like using it for peace of mind. I would change how many stickers you get in a packet as £5.99 is expensive.

Olivia: The thermometer was hard to get to stick to my toddler. It kept coming loose. I would make the adhesive strips cheaper/more in a packet as each strip can only be used for 24 hours and a lot of the time when a child is sick, it lasts for 4 days or more, resulting in a whole pack of strips being used in one illness.
