The Cocoon Front Baby Carrier by Bushbaby is lightweight, easy to put on and easy to adjust. The inclusion of a detachable pod means that babies can be removed from the sling without being woken up – a massive plus! It’s compatible with most car seats – baby can be placed in the seat by simply detaching the back panel and lifting both panel and baby out together. The padding on the detachable section is, however, very thick, which is  good for supporting a younger baby's head but too thick when the weather is hot.

The baby carrier includes a sun canopy and dribble bib. It's also comfortable and durable. The straps near baby’s face are covered, so there’s no way baby can suck on them, and the simple press stud that holds that front down when baby is in the forward facing position is a brilliant little feature.

The only real negative is that the baby carrier doesn’t last very long – only until 9kg, which is 6 months for some babies and 9 months for most. _But for those first few months..._the baby carrier is easy to use, even when you're really tired and struggling with the most basic things; it’s great to have your hands free quickly without a complicated assembly to carry out first!
