This has an easy-to-fold frame and four height adjustments on the parent harness. The baby harness has padded shoulder straps and a soft, mesh headrest.

It also features large storage pockets and an integrated rain/sun cover offering UV50+ protection. Suitable from six months to 15kg.

Tested by Kate Bishop, mum to Holly, six months, and Poppy, two and a half years. She says:

Though this is great for short to medium walks, I couldn’t carry it all day due to minimal padding on the shoulder straps.

The child’s shoulder-strap buckle was awkward when Poppy was wearing lots of layers. And it looks rather dull and basic.

Having said that, there’s ample storage and the stand is brilliant – really sturdy and easy to use. Overall, it’s a good-value buy.

Tested by Kate Gillies, mum to Rafe, 13 months. She says:

I liked the neutral colours, but the straps look and feel flimsy.

The harness is tricky to fasten, and Rafe took an instant and lasting dislike to the detachable bib. I was pleasantly surprised by how easily the stand tucks in and pulls out, however, even when you’re doing it up behind your back.

It could do with a pocket for your phone and keys, though.

Tested by Nikki Hunt, mum to Emmy, two years. She says:

This is so easy to adjust for a comfortable fit. And the harness is a doddle to deal with, it was really easy to pop Emmy in and out – she loved it! It offered good support for her back too.

However, it’s a dull grey colour.

And I couldn’t collapse the legs unaided – that requires pulling down and out behind your back and I haven’t done enough yoga to manage that!
