We say: This versatile baby carrier boasts handy storage pockets and four carrying positions – including on your back, once your baby is six months old or weighs 6.5kg. An adjustable newborn insert is included for additional head, neck and spine support but practice using this – it’s a little fiddly! We love the stow-away hood for protection from the elements, and the hands-through pouch for extra connection to your baby.

Tested by mum Claire Mellor and Rosa, 5 weeks:

Lovely fabric quality and I like the pockets but I found this impractical with a young baby. I have to put the straps on and fasten it with one hand. I can’t reach the clasp at the back – even with help from my husband, this feels awkward. The newborn insert is fiddly. My baby’s face seems too close to my chest. She isn’t comfortable at all – she didn’t stop crying!

Tested by mum Rebecca Jones and Freddie, 6 months:

The back carry option is very good and offers great head support – Freddie nestled into my back instead of his head flopping backwards. I like its versatility – it’s easy to switch between positions if you want to prevent baby falling asleep on a long walk. I can undo this easily without assistance. Excellent waistband and shoulder support make it comfortable to wear for long periods. My favourite – everyone should buy it!

Tested by mum Laura Byers and Marley, 12 months:

Incredibly comfortable. The waistband is lovely and thick – ideal if you're squeezing it around a mum-tum! You can use it as a hip carrier too, which is handy for grabbing a few minutes to tidy the house. The pockets are so useful and large enough for storing your essentials on a hands-free walk. Marley is really happy in this and I like that it doesn’t restrict her movement.
