“The structured bucket seat ensures baby is seated in the ergonomic frog-leg position in all carrying positions: with the legs perfectly tucked up and the spine gently curved. All Ergobaby baby carriers are certified and recommended by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI) and the Federal Association of German Back Schools. Coupled with the Infant Insert, the 360 is perfect for baby from early on.”

Would you recommend this to other mums?

This carrier is lovely. Not as compact/foldable as some other multi-position carriers but it feels so much more secure and the quality is clear. The infant insert which is included means that you can use the sling over a long period of time with your baby. With 4 different positions, you can find something which works for you both as your baby grows. It is easy to use and very comfortable to wear. The back carrier function is one which many carriers don't include but is great for older babies.

How did this product make your life easier?

My baby likes to be carried and sometimes gets grumpy in his pushchair so having an alternative is important to me. Being able to carry him like this means that I have hands free to do other things. The different positions mean that I can choose which best suits what I am doing at the time or the mood of my baby. If he is being clingy then one of the front positions works well, if not then he loves the back carrier position which I find more comfortable for longer periods now he is bigger.

Would you choose this product to win?

Yes. Primarily because it has the back carrying option. I have a rucksack carrier but this is very large and bulky so not easy to transport meaning that the Ergobaby is the ideal solution. The carrier is well made, easy to use and quick to swap between positions. The four different positions would all be well used at different stages as your baby grows. The inclusion of the infant insert extends this even further. Could be the only carrier you need to buy!

What changes would you make to this product?

When carrying your baby in front of you, the Ergobaby requires a strap to be fastened at the back between the shoulder straps. I wasn't able to manage this by myself when testing the product and had to enlist my husband's help. Obviously this is not ideal as when he is at work, I am alone with my baby so would have to manage by myself. This may be possible had I had more time to experiment with it but is something which could be made easier I think.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Most definitely. It's comfortable, stylish, easy to use and very secure. I think it suits mums that are experienced in baby wearing as well as new mums trying baby wearing for the first time. It has longevity as it goes up to a good weight and you can also use it for a small newborn. 10 out of 10 from me.

How did this product make your life easier?

I popped my baby in it while I prepped a lasagne. It's lovely and secure so means you're completely hands free to get on with jobs around the house. As a mum to a 3 year old as well, it enabled me to meet the needs of both of my children at one time by keeping the baby close and being able to play with the 3 year old as well.

Would you choose this product to win?

Yes I would. I love using a stretchy type sling with a newborn but this is much more practical and comfortable for my baby now he's a bit older and a lot chunkier! It's so easy to put on and pop the baby in quickly. He loved be able to forward face comfortably and see what I was doing from a different perspective.

What changes would you make to this product?

It would be nice if it came with a carry pouch so that you could put it under the buggy without worrying about it getting dirty and it would keep all the straps contained when transporting it. Other than that I think it's a brilliant carrier and I'm sorely tempted to buy one so I can use it on a daily basis.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

This is an expensive carrier and as such I'm not sure I would recommend it. While it is made of good quality materials, in my opinion the design is very rigid and complicated. I found the instructions difficult to follow and there is a variety of straps and buckles which takes some getting used to. Having said that however it has a wide variety of carrying positions so you would not need to buy another one and it is extremely comfortable, it's just expensive for what it is in my opinion.

How did this product make your life easier?

The variety of carrying positions make this a great alternative to a pushchair or pram and as such it makes life much easier for those babies who do not want to be put down, or if you have other children. It is extremely versatile and comfortable to wear and leaves your hands free to do other tasks.

What changes would you make to this product?

I would change the pricing as it is quite an expensive carrier and as such would be out of the range of affordability for a lot of people. I think there are less expensive products on the market which are equally as good. I would also change the instructions as I found them difficult to follow, perhaps a video tutorial could be included to assist?

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I really enjoyed using the Ergobaby Bundle of Joy 360 with my little girl. After looking at the pictorial guidelines and setting it up how I needed it to be for forward facing, it was super simple to put on and lift my little girl into it and secure her. It is a little bulky but if you can get past this, it's that durable and strong fabric that makes the Ergobaby so comfortable to wear, giving you peace of mind that your little one is snug, safe and secure. My daughter was smiling from ear to ear when I carried her around and was really comfortable. Happy baby, happy Mummy!

How did this product make your life easier?

Trying to find time to do things around he house with a young baby is really really tough. They depend on you and need you constantly. My little girl does not like being on her own, which limits me in what I can do. This is just one of the reasons I absolutely love the Ergobaby. A big feature is the waist support belt which enabled me to carry her around the house, do a few loads of laundry and sweep the kitchen floor while carrying her without any pain or discomfort. Another thing I love about it is that it's machine washable, very handy as a busy mum. I have tried a few baby carriers before but this is by far the most comfortable and my favourite pick.

Would you choose this product to win?

I have had a really bad back since I had my son 4 years ago and always found it really uncomfortable and even painful to pick heavy things up and so steered well clear of any baby carriers or slings. However, with the thick padded shoulder straps and wide waist belt, the Ergobaby felt so comfortable and I could carry my daughter with ease without pain so I could not be happier! The waist support belt felt comfortable to wear and it gave me peace of mind that I knew that my baby was well supported and secure. I also loved the shade cloth that can be easily popped into position to protect the little one from the sun.

What changes would you make to this product?

I have thought about this for a very long time but am finding it very difficult to find things I would change. Perhaps something to add on to make it just a little bit better would be a mirror on a string which I can easily locate while carrying my baby on my back to check on her to make sure she's ok. I felt a little paranoid wearing it on my back as I could not see if she was ok. Other than that, I think a lot of thought has gone into the design of this product and I am very satisfied with the end result.

Tested by mum Joanne Handy for the M&B Awards 2017:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

It was a compact fold that came in a nice bag to store it away in. They also suggest the bag can be use to store other essentials on for on the go. The design looked stylish and eye catching. The product was very comfortable to wear for the parent and child. The product was easy to put on, by yourself with the need of a second person to help you. I didn't need to clean the product, but I wouldn't have thought the fabric marked too easily.

How did this product make your life easier?

Having already owned a rather expensive structured carrier myself I was very keen to see how this product stood up against it. This was the only structured carrier I was asked to test. Once the product is on, it was by far the best of wearing for long periods, the structure gives you the support you need to wear you child for a long time. The quality is also particularly good.

Would you choose this product to win?

Unlike a hybrid carrier I used, this product is just one thing, a structured carrier, whilst thats great for wearing for longer periods to give you the support, what it isn't it quick to put on and load your child in like some of the others and the price is more to reflect that it's a structured carrier.

What changes would you make to this product?

More breathable fabric, I'm yet to find a structured carrier that doesn't result in my child getting way to hot. This is rather a reflection on this type of carrier than this particular model or brand though. I believer this would make the carrier suitable for wearing all day, and put this carrier at the top of any reviewers list.
