We reckon a baby carrier is a must-have when you're a parent, allowing mums and dads to bond with their babies while giving them the freedom of two hands.

There's no denying, however, that baby carriers can be expensive, which is why we're big fans of the Infantino baby carriers. As well as being completely safe for your precious cargo, there are lots of different choices to pick from to suit you and your little one and better yet, the majority are under £40.

To help you narrow down the choice, we've pulled together eight of our favourite Infantino baby carriers with their key features so you can ensure you're making the best choice.

Review: "I was hesitant to buy this because of the reviews. But I went with my gut and bought it. It’s the best carrier I’ve used. Previously we had a Joie which was really flimsy.
I’d recommend this to anyone. It’s comfortable for you and the baby. Very supportive. Lots of adjustments if needed. I’m a plus size girl and it fits me perfectly and still with more room to spare. You don’t need to spend £80+ for a baby carrier when you can get this for £30. Don’t hesitate."

Review: "This is my 4th carrier and it’s the best! My son is 3 months old and he was very uncomfortable and cried in all the other carriers we tried. He’s very happy and comfortable in this one and I feel he’s very safe in it.
Once you’ve put it on a couple of times and adjusted it to your size it’s easy to put on. Comfortable for the wearer as well. Bit fiddly to change from mum to forward facing but I feel it’s worth it as it’s so comfortable for both baby and wearer."

Review: "I purchased this for my 6 month old so we could go hiking as a family. I love the versatility of this carrier- baby can face you or face out to see the world. The width is adjustable for comfort. I especially like that you can fasten this carrier to yourself fully before putting your baby in instead of juggling baby while trying to fasten the carrier to your body. Great design feature! The panels work well for insulating baby's torso in chilly weather and tuck away when bit needed."

• Natural, ergonomic seat in all positions

Review: "Great for using when my little one wont be put down! Material not as stretchy as I expected but understandable as baby needs to be secure. Have tried several over brands and due to being larger chested (G cup) they don't support baby or back when you loosen the straps to fit around boobs. This is comfortable to wear for me, super quick and easy to put on and baby seems happy in it! Gives me a valuable 2 hands to get stuff done. Must have for new parents!"
