Chad Valley’s Large Baby Playmat is bright, colourful and nicely padded. It washes well and has two handles so that it can be folded up and easily transported.
The playmat is a really good size (the width of a king-size bed!) and includes all kinds of stimulating textures. The mirror, crinkly butterfly, fluffy cloud and plastic keys are baby favourites but considering the size and cost of the mat it is perhaps lacking in detail – it could do with some more ‘noisy’ parts; some music maybe? It’s a soft space for babies to explore safely – quite a lot like a big, colourful blanket (the kind you have lying around at home already); and for this reason it could be considered overpriced.
