This La La Beads teething necklace is bright and colourful, allowing mums to look stylish while still giving baby a soothing chew for teething.

Tested by Katie Linstead 28, mum to Heidi, 15 months. She says:

I’ve never found a teething necklace in a style I like - until now! My ideal teething necklace is lightweight and brightly coloured, easy to take on and off, and not too expensive.

I love the colour and the simple, stylish design - it’s lovely for Spring, and the bright but neutral colour means it goes with lots of my clothes.

I also like the contrasting safety catch, and the black cord looks especially stylish and makes this easy to accessorise.

The beads are a really nice texture and the necklace is a good length for my toddler to fiddle with.

Tested by Ciara O’Doherty, 36, mum to Caidan, four months. She says:

My son has been teething since he was two months old which is too young for most over-the-counter teething remedies, and he’s not yet able to hold teething objects in his mouth by himself so a necklace seems ideal.

A simple design and good value for money - I’d definitely wear this again.

I like that it’s dishwasher-safe; such a handy way of keeping it clean.

However, my son didn’t enjoy chewing on this one. I think this was due to the shape and texture of the beads and the fact that they are quite hard compared to some of the others we tried. He’s possibly a little young to get to grips with this necklace.

Tested by Linsey Robertson, 33, mum to daughter Eilidh, seven months. She says:

Despite having no teeth at seven months, Eilidh loves to gnaw on anything and everything! I haven't worn jewellery much since she was born so I am looking forward to having some baby-friendly pieces to wear. I’d love a stylish necklace that’s also good value.

Initially I wasn't keen on the yellow colour of these beads or the simplicity of the design, but it actually goes with a surprising number of my clothes, so I've worn it a lot.

However, the beads are quite big and not easy for a tiny mouth to chew on so it’s probably better suited to older babies.

This necklace is quite long but that’s ideal for Eilidh to play with when she is feeding or in a sling. It’s good value for money and I'll definitely wear it again.
