Tested by mum Natalie Leaney for the M&B Awards 2016:

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I would recommend this as the best idea is that there are different sizes for different ages. The shape is good for babies to hold, and the bright colours attract their attention. They are easy to clean and they are easy to carry around in my little one’s baby bag. They have really helped out my little one while he is going through the teething process.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

As a mum it helps out when my little one is teething it gives him something to focus on and chew on to help with his teeth. He seems to like the colours and shape of the MAM teething friends.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I think that it would be good if they could do a wider range of style and colours but other than that, I absolutely love these teethers. A big thumbs up.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I would recommend the MAM Teething Friends to a fellow mum because they are well-made, attractive to hold and durable. They are easy to wipe down to keep clean and fresh. There are three different teething toys for the following stages; 2m+, 4m+ and 5m+. They are unisex so suits each and every baby. Each stage is a different animal so it would be a nice change of the baby once they were ready to start using the next stage up. They are brightly coloured with friendly faces on. There are different textures on the toys allowing the baby to get some relief from teething. They are small enough to pop into a changing bag or take out in the pram. They all are made in the form of a ring so that it is easy for the baby to hold. The packaging is attractive and informative.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

This makes my life easier by helping my teething baby gain some relief from teething. He is able to hold the toy himself and decide to chew however much he likes. I regularly take them out in my changing bag so he has something to chew and play with whilst we are out and about.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I cannot suggest any changes to this product as it suits us perfectly.

The concept behind these teething toys is a good one. I like that they are soft natural rubber and that they (particularly the 2 smaller ones) are easy for tiny hands to try and grasp. While the colours are nice they don't really "pop" and could do with brightening and the actual characters themselves weren't all that cute.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

I found my children were happy to grasp the MAM Teething Friends if I physically wrapped their hands around the teethers and waved them about for a little while however they soon lost interest in them and never really tried to put them in their mouths, even after numerous attempts over the last week (and they put everything in their mouths at the moment as they are teething!).

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Maybe do better contrasting colours on them to really catch a baby's eye, especially the smallest snail teether. They really do need a bit of brightening and two tone colour to make them more appealing.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I’d recommend this product as I found they are really nice designs. Easy to use. Really liked the little rubber peace to touch and see how hard the rubber was on the packaging. Really like how there's a different product for very young aged baby's. Nice and small to just pop into a bag and take along with us. Easy to clean.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

I thought that having the rubber on the front of the packaging so I could feel how hard the rubber is, was a great idea I find sometimes buying teethes you’re not sure of how they feel for baby’s gums so the rubber was a good indication for this.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

There’s nothing I’d really change about these. Really enjoyed using them.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

These are really cute teething friends which are suitable for the younger age range. They have 3 different styles and sizes for 3,4 & 5 months. I had an early teether with my first child and searched high and low for a suitable toy. My 2nd boy is the same and has really enjoyed trying this out. The natural rubber is nice and soft so gentle on the gums. He is able to hold it in his hands and with help can chew it to give relief.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

My little man has been teething since a few weeks old, as he is too young for any medication we have been trying everything. These MAM Teething Friends do seem to help and as he is starting to be able to hold on and bring to his mouth. Therefore, helping to distract from or even sooth some of the discomfort.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Possibly a little storage box to keep them clean and safe when not in use.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

We love the designs of the MAM Teething Friends, they come in 3 different characters, each character is designed for a different age. They are easy to clean and the material is kind to my son's gums. Soft, but allows for a good "gumming".

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

The is nothing worse than seeing your child in pain, so anything to help ease the pain is great. The different sizes allow for my son at the beginning of his teething journey to hold the teether himself. As he grows they will continue to help his sore gums.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

It would be great if these could be cooled (in the fridge) too.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

These teething toys are a really good size to put in the change bag to take out and about. They are really easy for my 6 month old to grasp and chew. I liked the soft rubbery material, and the fact that they are in the shape of different animals as they could double as toys when he is a bit older.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

These teething friends ease the pain of teething which makes life easier for both mum and baby.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I would make the colours a bit more vibrant.

Tested by mum Anneli Kitson for the M&B Awards 2016:

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I like the fact that the product is made from natural rubber and that they are soft and a great size for little hands to get a good grip on. The shape of the teething friends seem to lend themselves to being put straight into little mouths with a good gripping area for babies to hold.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

Baby seems to really like the taste of them and she is quite happy to lie on her playmat and gum them to death for a fair amount of time.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Maybe a little cheaper? I can see them getting lost or misplaced quite easily due to their size, so I think I would end up needing to buy a few.
