Designed to grow with your baby through three stages, this interactive crawl toy challenges and encourages little ones learning to crawl with colourful lights, energetic tunes and sweet buzzing sounds. It also features moveable beads to help with teething. When your baby first starts out at 5 months, the cloud moves in a circular pattern and stays close to entice new crawlers and when they get older, it moves in random patterns to encourage chasing.
Would you recommend this to other mums?
Farwah: I would recommend this product to friends and family because it is so entertaining. The detachable bee is an added bonus. I believe every kid loves music and light and it is great for their development. Children won't grow out of this toy for a long time and even parents could enjoy as it provides a great bonding too.
Angela: The product is small, colourful and grabs your child's attention. It's easy to pack away if you wanted to take it out. I wouldn't recommend this product around animals as not only does it grab your child's attention but animals too.
Andrea: Yes, its small enough to transport and can be taken on holidays or house to house. The fact that the bee is detachable too makes it fun for my baby as she loves to play with the bee on its own. Very easy to clean. Wipes down fab. No fiddly corners that would be hard to reach.
How did this product make your life easier?
Terri: This is a lovely toy and I like the fact that it has a rattle which comes off too. It is also handy that it has a built-in sensor so it stops when it bumps into things. The fact it has two settings, one for first crawlers and one for advanced crawlers, meaning you get more value for money.
Louise: This product makes my life easier as a mum as it provides entertainment for my little girl, giving her stimulation and giving me five minutes peace. My child was at the last stage of play for the product but I can see this being a fabulous toy for a baby on the verge of crawling. It is a very stimulating toy and I'd say perfect for ages six-months plus.
Jennifer: Product was very easy to set up and play with. Put the ball in, flick the switch and away you go. As the product was very good at detecting obstacles and altering course, it required very little intervention to keep it going. Our daughter loved it and this product is certainly the best of its type that we’ve tried so far.
Would you choose this product to win?
Leanna: The bee really engages baby so they actually want to chase after it. The fact it knows to avoid things in its path is clever and futuristic and means baby doesn't crash into obstacles either - certainly a USP! The lights and sounds are very baby-friendly and she loves to pick up and rattle the bee toy. It's great that there are a number of settings to suit babies of different developmental stages. I would certainly be an advocate for this winning the best toy category - it's one of the best we have come across.
Lilija: Very well priced for all the interaction and entertaining. It is a great little helper when crawling. Very interactive for toddler and baby when playing together, there is no fighting over who gets to keep it as its always on the floor. If you are looking for something entertaining for your kids this should be considered and it is well priced.
Louise: I think this product is great as an encouragement to crawl toy and I haven't seen anything similar on the market. I like the fact the product has three stages of play, meaning that it will grow with the child. My daughter loved playing with the toy, it gave plenty of giggles and she enjoyed chasing it. I do think it is priced quite high for such a small child's toy.
What changes would you make to this product?
Jennifer: Firstly, would be great if the bill could be fixed to the cradle when not in use. This would mean it isn’t separated and is easy to pick up and play with. Secondly, the device should ideally shut off after five minutes of no activity but start again if touched.
Philipa: I think that the cost would have to be lower for me to buy this product. As I mentioned previously, I don’t think a child would be interested in it for very long and therefore cost per use would be less. I also think that it isn’t as good on carpet as it is on a wooden floor.
Andrea: A few more sounds on the base would be helpful as it was a little repetitive at times to hear the same tones. Maybe interchangeable animals to sit on the base to give some variation. The sensor could do with being a little stronger so that when the base hits an object it will then move on rather than get stuck.
