Testing the TickiT® Sensory Reflective Sound Buttons

Our mum testers were all very pleased with the Sensory Reflective Sound Buttons from TickiT®, saying they caught their baby's attention straight away and, most importantly, found them safe for their little ones to use.

"My child really liked the product," says our mum tester Elisabeth. "These are a great sensory toy. My baby loves to shake them, bite them, bash them together and throw them around. Each button makes a different sound and has a different colour. They are the perfect size for little hands to hold and are very durable, withstanding any playing, biting etc with no damage. They're also easy to clean."

Another one of our mum testers, Joanna, also said her little boy enjoyed using these toys while he was teething. "He likes to rattle it and put in his mouth as he’s six months old and teething. The surface is smooth and mirrored so that my baby can see himself in it. He can stack buttons together and build a tower and likes to throw the on the floor as well like all his toys."

However, it's not just baby's who enjoyed playing with these buttons, as mum-of-four, Valerie, said they were a hit with all of her children. "My experience with the sensory buttons product was positive overall. I have four children aged 7, 5, 3 and 6 months. They were all drawn to the buttons as soon as I took them out of the packaging. They enjoyed looking at them, appreciating their shiny surfaces and different colours. They enjoyed shaking them to hear the different sounds and making music/songs with them. This kept them occupied for a while."

Our testers also appreciated how light these buttons were and liked that their smooth surfaces made them easy to clean and more hygienic. "I thought they were very hygienic as a toy, as there are no grooves for dirt to hide in," said mum Samantha, while Nicole added "the smooth surface means I can keep them clean and sterilized with just a quick wipe."

While there wasn't really anything our mum testers said they would change about the product itself, they did point out that a small pouch or box to keep the buttons in would have been useful, as their shape means they can't be stacked traditional on a shelf. Other than this, our mums, baby's and children all seemed very satisfied.

Final thoughts

The Sensory Reflective Sound Buttons from TickIT® are an eye-catching, unique toy for your baby or child that will encourage creative play. They look good, are great for teething, safe for chewing, throwing, very durable and easy to keep clean. They're smooth shape, pretty colours and their simplicity make them an intriguing and unique play item from the traditional baby toy.
