Hooded Owls Bath Towel

At a glance:

Our panel of mum testers commented that the towel would be most convenient on holiday, on the beach and by the pool when you want your children to be able to run around, but not be shivering. The towels come up quite big, so might swamp your baby, but will be perfect when they reach toddler-age!

What they say:

“We know bath time with young children can be one of the most stressful times of the day; you’ve battled to get them in the tub, endured an epic meltdown over hair-washing, avoided getting bubbles, shampoo or any reminisce of water on their face.  You’ve convinced them it’s time to get out and now you have a soaking wet, naked toddler who is adamant on escaping the bathroom to make as many rooms in the house as wet as possible whilst also getting cold. And if you add any siblings into the mix you can double, treble, or quadruple the chaos! We've been there ourselves and have designed our hooded towels to make bath times that bit easier for you. Not only are our towels generously sized but they are made of a premium 550g Egyptian cotton ensuring they are big, thick, super soft, fluffy and absorbent and wash up perfectly.”

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this to my friends as it is good for children of all ages. I think it is a holiday must-have as it is great for wrapping around your child whilst on the beach or round the pool. The hood is another plus point as it keeps them warm and speeds up the dreaded hair drying process after the bath.

How did this product make your life easier?

This is a great product as it is fast absorbing and the little popper to fasten it was a great touch, especially with a three-year-old that has a love of running around in their towel after a bath. With the popper, there is no worry that it will fall down and trip her up. It is also great for on the beach and swimming as it is very thick.

Would you choose this product to win?

This for me is hands down the best product on the market. The winning factors for me are the thickness of the towel, how well it washes, the hood and fastening popper. My daughter likes to sit in it after her bath and I don't have to worry that she is getting cold.

What changes would you make to this product?

Personally for me there isn't anything about this product I would change. It is a well-designed and well-made towel that comes in a great range of colours. The only thing I would say is that the price is a little high for a towel - most parents are looking at ways to save money and anything over £15 is a little excessive.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this towel for toddler-aged children and older. I'm not sure if it would be suitable for much younger as the hood is very big which did scare my son at first. But the overall design we both love, as it is extremely good quality, it washes very well and comes in a variety of colours and ribbon designs. I would recommend asking for this product as a gift though as it is quite expensive. I'm not sure I would spend the amount on a towel for ourselves, but I would buy it as a gift for a friend.

How did this product make your life easier?

This product is perfect for toddler bath times. My little one loves to be wrapped up after a bath and this product allows us to do just that. The hood on the side is in the perfect position to wrap the remainder around him, pop the popper and off we go. There's no fumbling to get the right angle to create a hood as with other towels and no need to use more than one towel each bath time, which means less washing for mummy!

Would you choose this product to win?

If money were no object, I would definitely buy this product above all the others on the market (I only have experience of one other brand). It is by far the best design as so easy to use. The hood being on the long side of the towel provides the perfect shape to 'wrap up' my son and he loves the star on the popper.

What changes would you make to this product?

The only downside to this product is the price. I would buy it as a gift but it is a bit expensive to buy for ourselves. It would also be great if it came in a smaller size for babies as I would have loved this design as a new mum.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this product to a friend or fellow mum because it makes getting out the bath or shower so much easier than using a standard towel. It is also lovely and thick and keeps my child warm during this process. It is also a lovely bright colour which my child loves to use straight after being in the bath or shower.

How did this product make your life easier?

This product makes bath times easy and simple. As soon as my child is out of the bath I quickly pop the hood of the towel over their head and wrap them up. It keeps my child nice and warm while I dry them.

Would you choose this product to win?

I think this product is one of the best on the market, especially compared to a standard towel. It's a really bright colour which stands out and it really is lovely and thick compared to normal towels on the market. It is also a little different as it fastens together on the child.

What changes would you make to this product?

I would change two things about this product; firstly, I would like to see it made slightly longer, as it isn't easy drying legs while wearing it. I usually have to take the towel off my child while I do this part. Secondly, I would also change the price of the product as I think £31 for a towel is rather expensive compared to other similar towels out there on the market.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would definitely recommend this towel to friends as it makes getting out of the bath so much quicker and easier. Not to mention, it’s perfect for the pool and beach. With it being so soft, I would have absolutely no problem using it on a newborn as well as my two and four-year-old. It’s a very cute design and is a good price for such an innovative product.

How did this product make your life easier?

It’s a fabulous product, it makes bath time so much quicker and makes my boys actually want to get out of the bath! It’s so snuggly and warm they never want to take it off! The little popper is perfect as it keeps the towel on and means there’s no tying or faffing about trying to keep the towel up. It also washes lovely and is very soft.

Would you choose this product to win?

Yes I would choose it above other products simply because of the quality – it’s luxurious and really deserves to win as it’s perfect for little ones. I wish I had been aware of them before we went on holiday as they would have been great to take with us for the children.

What changes would you make to this product?

The price. I personally wouldn’t spend that much on a towel, but I am also aware of the fact that such a lovely, lovely product costs to make. It is very high quality and this is reflected in the price and I would 100% buy as a gift.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I definitely would recommend this towel as I have seen that it comes in a range of colours and designs so would suit every child. The towel is so snuggly especially with the big thick hood and washes beautifully. It would make a gorgeous gift – the quality is fabulous and the colour so bright so it has a real appeal.

How did this product make your life easier?

This towel is absolutely fantastic. My little boy loved having his own special towel so bath time is a breeze and the quality is so fantastic and thick, so no shivering when my little one gets out. The colour is so beautiful and bright and washes amazingly well. It is definitely more expensive than an average towel, but in my opinion it is worth every penny.

Would you choose this product to win?

At first when I saw the price tag I thought it was very expensive for a children’s towel, however I can tell that it is a quality product and will last for a long time. I have used hooded towels before that have been thin and poor quality, but this is thick, well made with the little popper to keep the hood together and great for little one to keep warm in. In my opinion, this product is far superior to any other on the market.

What changes would you make to this product?

The only thing that I would change about the towel is to maybe have it a little longer as was a bit on the shorter side for tall children. I thought the price tag was a little steep for a towel but as I mentioned before it is definitely worth the extra cost.
