The fun interactive Nuby Scoop N Spin Bath Toy brings playtime to the bath tub. Children become fascinated when they pour water in and watch the cogs spin, twirl and then sprinkle the water out. Find out what our parent testers thought.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I really love the Nuby Scoop N Spin Bath Toy, as does my little boy.  It's very easy to use for him especially being so independent.  Unlike some bath toys this one really holds quite a lot of water so that once they have filled it up they can really enjoy the water going through the holes for quite a while.  This toy has several different things inside the water runs through keeping little one very amused, watching the little cogs turning around and the balls in the handle.  The waterfall/sprinkler at the bottom pours out fully and doesn't get clogged up or stuck.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

The child friendly handle makes it very easy for my child to use this himself which is great entertainment and distraction for him whilst i can focus on trying to clean him. The Nuby Scoop N Spin Bath Toy has also encouraged him to put his head underneath the waterfall and not be afraid of getting his hair wet. It has been really valuable in helping him adapt to having the shower over his head.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I am slightly unsure if I would pay £7.49 for a bath toy of this size, but it is a really lovely product perhaps at a slightly lower price.

The Nuby Scoop N Spin Bath Toy is a good toy with lots of features. Suitable for small children but my 2 year old really likes it. Very attractive design with nice smiley face and colours. Only down side is that when you submerge it it doesn't fill up with water very well so only a small amount runs through the toy to make the spinners spin etc. That's a shame as almost perfect despite that.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

The quality of it was good, it was colourful and inviting, and didn't leak or seam cheaply produced in anyway, however it was very difficult to actually fill with water. The shape of it meant to fill it you had to almost turn it upside down, which went against the way you would naturally hold it. It was hard to scoop the water up into it without it just coming out the other hole in the top. Once it was filled with water the effect off the inside spinning and the water coming out the bottom only last a second so the children quickly became bored with it. It was also very large and fairly heavy when filled with water for them to lift up and mainly resulted in water being sloshed out of the bath

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

The big thing for me was how to fill the Nuby Scoop N Spin Bath Toy. It seemed awkward and cumbersome when trying to fill it and didn't enable you to simply scoop the water up into it as I would have expected. I had high hopes for this as it looked fun and a good distracting toy, however in the end, neither of my children were that interested in it.

It has nice bright colours and lots of interesting moving bits. The handle is great so my children are able to pick it up and do it themselves the water comes out of the bottom holes slowly which allows the children to see it happening.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

Makes bathtime more fun for the children. My oldest loves to get let the water to come out of the bottom holes whilst holding it above his brother's head.
