At a glance:

This is the perfect bathtime addition. An innovative rinser featuring an interior fin that channels a steady flow of water to ensure quick cry-free rinses. A soft rubber lip fits snuggly to the forehead, preventing water from getting in eyes. The easy grip handle allows you to hold the rinser in one hand and baby in the other.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Lucy: It has a sturdy design and sits nicely on side of the bath. It makes hair washing a bit more fun. You could even store small bath toys inside to save space.

Sheila: I would recommend this product to other mums. It is very easy to use, isn't too big, you can stand it up or hang it up by the tail and it is easy to clean. The design is a good idea, however, I feel it could maybe do with a more vibrant design rather than just the plain colour to make it a little bit more appealing.

Ruth: Yes, I would recommend the Skip Hop Waterfall Bath Rinser. It works very well. It holds a good volume of water for hair washing. For children who do not like water going in their eyes, it is easy to hold next to their heads and pour the water away from them to keep their eyes dry. It is comfortable to hold and its whale design is fun and the bright blue colour is eye-catching. It is easy to wipe it out and keep it clean.

How did this product make your life easier?

Anna: The Skip Hop Moby Waterfall Bath Rinser allows me to have a product that I can keep in the bathroom specifically for bath time. The fun design has made my children want to use it more than a normal boring jug, which has helped when it comes to the dreaded hair wash. The ergonomic composition of the lip of the jug, where it is rounded in shape, helps to keep the water from running down my child's face.

Amanda: Anything to make bath times easier is a bonus! When I found out I was reviewing this I was excited to try it as both my boys hate the shampoo being rinsed from their hair. Since receiving the product I have used it every bath time on my one-year-old and three-year-old. It works wonders.

Grainne: This has made bath time more fun and enjoyable. My little one hated getting water over her face and in her eyes, which was inevitable using a standard jug. The ridges on this product help control the water flow when pouring and thus avoids the eyes. The cute design even means my little one likes to play with the product just like the rest of her bath toys!

Would you choose this product to win?

Samantha: I would choose this product over others as its cute design is incorporated with the water theme and it is a great story starter in the bath. My kids love being distracted by a fun story! The rubber headrest is firmer than others on the market but is still softer on the head than most and doesn't seep water down into the children's eyes.

Lauren: I adore the design and the waterfall function as the water pours out in an even stream rather than just coming out all at once, which really helps with avoiding getting water in my son's eyes. As a mother, I worry about bath toys and bath products getting mouldy due to the daily use and being in and out of the water so I love that it is mould and mildew resistant.

Sheila: I think this product deserves to win. It is very simple to use and does what it says on the tin which makes it head and shoulders above some of the others. The soft edging is gentle on babies heads and it sits well, meaning no water gets into babies eyes or ears. The whale design is both practical and eye-catching and beats a boring old plastic jug any day!

What changes would you make to this product?

Ruth: Overall, the Skip Hop Moby Waterfall Bath Rinser is a great product as it is and I actually wouldn’t change anything about it. However, there may be some children who don’t like the colour blue and thus having an alternate colour choice might be helpful. Also, they could make a different animal shape to diversify the product.

Anna: I would change the pouring edge of the Skip Hop Moby Waterfall Bath Rinser making it wider, and the rubber more flexible. This would allow for a more comfortable and watertight fit to the child's head. The wider edge/spout would cover more of the head per rinse, which really helps when your child hates having their hair washed.

Amanda: Although I loved this product, I found it more difficult to use on my one-year-old than my three-year-old. I felt that perhaps there could be a bit more flexibility with the jug and the opening of it. I found it quite rigid so a lot of the time the water was falling over my one-year-olds face which was not intended. Overall, it is a great product but perhaps a bit more flexible plastic would be helpful.
