What's special about the new Stokke Yoga?
Stokke® Yoga™ is the first of its kind – a baby bouncer and swing in one! The product features innovative dual-motion technology with motor-free bouncing and swinging movements, which means you or your baby must initiate the movement, rather than the product itself.
They say the Stokke Yoga has been designed, with input from physiotherapists, to soothe, stimulate, and support development.
Benefits of the new Stokke Yoga for you and your baby
The soft swing is designed to soothe, while the bounce is ideal for stimulating. Both of these features give parents hands-free time while keeping little one in reach, providing a safe and nurturing spot for babies to rest, play, and grow. The unique combination of bouncing and swinging mimics the soothing rhythm of being cradled in a parent’s arms, offering both comfort and developmental benefits.
The unique movement of this product is made to trigger the vestibular system with gentle motions, to give babies the stimulation they naturally crave. These gentle movements include swinging, bouncing, and rocking – helping to improve balance, soothe little ones, and support essential developmental milestones like posture, sitting, crawling, and walking.

We love the versatility of the 2-in-1 design. One participant from user testing shared, “I prefer the bouncing motion because it keeps the baby the most engaged and it’s easier to play with the baby […] My partner prefers the swinging motion as it soothes the baby.” We think this is certainly a baby product that will tick boxes no matter what your parenting style or child's needs.
What we like about the Stokke Yoga
3 Recline options
The Stokke Yoga has three recline options, catering for different development stages. New parents or those of premature babies will be pleased to know the removable newborn cushion and thoughtful design accommodates even the tiniest newborns up to 9kg/20lbs.
Easy to clean
With machine-washable fabric, you won't have to worry about cleaning.
Breathable mesh
The breathable mesh combines a soft cotton top with polyester underneath. This releases heat to keep babies cool without compromising comfort.

Easy to assemble and use
Designed with parents in mind, assembly is quick and straightforward! You just snap in the pole and adjust it to the ideal position. Disassembly is just as easy, with the bouncer folding flat for convenient storage or travel. Its legs are made from high-quality FSC-certified European beechwood, the same durable material used for the iconic Tripp Trapp® chair.
As well as being a breeze to put together and take apart, the Stokke Yoga is easy to use as well. One user said; “It is easy to put the baby in the bouncer and close and open the buckle. The swinging and bouncing come very easily, without any noises or interruptions.”
The secure swing lock also makes it effortless to use and move from room to room.

What does the Designer say about the Stokke Yoga?
Designer, Bianca Hanauer explains, “Parents intuitively use movements that imitate patterns of nature, like waves or the motions of the womb, to soothe or stimulate their newborns. Stokke Yoga mimics these natural movements, which also helps infants slowly learn how to swing or bounce themselves.”
Bianca also talks about the inspiration behind her design, saying, “Through talking to families worldwide, we learned that it is more beneficial to combine different movements in one product. Babies’ needs are constantly changing depending on their development stage, their mood and their age – therefore the movement has to adapt.”
Wanting to create a product with true purpose, a thorough developmental process that focussed on user needs was essential. With thorough research in key markets, on-site studies, and user testing at every stage, the result is a product that stands out from the market offering parents a versatile 2-in-1 solution.
