Baby gadgets have come a long way in the last few years. From remote controlled baby bouncers and swing chairs to rechargeable rockers, it's time to make way for the smart baby bouncer that morphs into a bassinet - but here's the clever bit - without having to move your baby from one to the other.

"What magic is this" we hear you ask?

The new Elvie Rise is an all-in-one smart bouncer (perfect for newborns) and bassinet that can support your baby from daytime play and naps, right through to night-time sleep with little or no effort.

Essentially, the Elvie Rise is three products in one which not only saves on space, but will also saves you money down the line. It replaces the need for a bouncer, bassinet and can also be used as an alternative to a baby swing or rocker (your aching arms will thank you!).

The bassinet is perfect for babies up to 5 months as it offers a gentle rocking motion giving you hands-free time to finish the laundry, get dinner started or just have a few moments of peace. It then seamlessly transforms to a flat bassinet ready to keep baby secure and snug at nap time. Impressively, as your baby grows, the manual bounce mode offers a safe and stimulating space for them to strengthen and stretch their muscles.

Oh did we mention it's portable too? What a lifesaver! You can pop it in the boot of your car for weekends away at grandmas.

The clever device can be connected and controlled via the Elvie Soothe & Sleep app so busy parents can stop, start and fine-tune a bounce from their phones as well as track their baby's sleep patterns.

Other features include:

• Firm flat mattress
• Retractable harness
• Breathable inner side walls
• Managing bouncing rhythm from your phone
• Super soft bamboo-rich padded sheet and breathable inner side wall
• Machine washable fabric
• Water-resistant layer under the padded sheet can be wiped clean
• Up to 4 hours of bouncing
• Built-in carrying groove and collapsible legs
