M&B says: This iSize seat is suitable for use in a rear-facing position until your child is four.

It has three recline settings as well as an extendable footrest and adjustable headrest, but it can’t be attached to a pram base. There’s a built-in ISOFIX base, so no need to purchase one separately. When reclined it’s fairly bulky, so it’s not ideal with a car full of passengers. The recline settings are very easy to adjust and can be done in the car – so you don’t need to prepare the seat before you set off.

This car seat is by far the most stylish design I have seen yet, Also, it comes in an array of colours. In terms of the new law it makes you enforce it too as there is no option to be forward facing, something which isn't really clear on the adverts, paperwork etc.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It is easy to adjust the seat position for sitting or sleeping and has great, clear indicators to ensure you have fitted it correctly.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

The lack of a forward option was just too limited for me. Our daughter hasn't actually gone forward facing yet so isn't used to it but I just don't like the idea of never having that option. Also our son is only 3.5 and under the top weight limit but this seat just seemed too small for him. I also found it very awkward to remove from one of the isofixs, even my male colleague struggled.

Tested by mum Aimée Higby, 25, from Essex, is mum to Aiden, six weeks old. She says:

‘Really quick and easy to install. I like the high seat position. Aiden enjoyed being able to see out of the window. I like that it lasts until age four.’

Tested by mum Helen Wood, 31, from Cambridgeshire, mum to Ethan, six months. She says:

‘This is expensive and heavy, but it seems well-padded and comfortable. Good value for money, considering Ethan would be able to use it until he’s four.’

Tested by Cora Fleming, 35, from Ipswich, mum to Lyla, 12 months.

‘Lyla was very comfy in this sturdy seat. The recline function is easy to adjust. I love the indicators which tell you when the seat is safely installed.’
