As a mother of three children under the age of five, it's safe to say I have now purchased a lot of car seats. Six to be exact. When I first became a parent, I spent hours scouring the internet for the best baby car seats to keep my baby safe.

I tested the All in All Rotate i-Size Motor Kidz car seat with my baby for six months. The All in All car seat range has a large selection of car seats all with beautiful child-friendly designs to suit your child's style and interests. I opted for the motor design which I knew would be a hit with my car-loving sons. This seat is suitable from birth to 12 years old. This investment will last your child until they no longer need a car seat. UK law states that a child must use a child car seat until they're 12 years old or 135cm tall.

Key features

Side Protection System helps to keep little ones protected on every journey. The Side protection is an impact-absorbing foam inlay, which means that in the case of an accident, there is less impact on your child from the sides.

Removable multi-stage liner means that the car seat can be adjusted according to your child's size, which also means that it will last longer.

Four recline positions in forward-facing mode allow the seat to support your child more even when forward-facing.

Testing the Cosatto All in All Rotate i-Size

This is an i-size car seat which means that it is manufactured to the latest child seat safety standards. Cosatto has gone one step further to ensure the wellbeing of your child, by testing beyond the standard speed requirements. This universal car seat is suitable from 40cms to 150cms - which is approx. birth to 12 years. This is brilliant news for parents as it means that you should never have to buy another car seat for your child. As part of Cosatto's pledge to become more eco-friendly, this car seat has been made from 12 recycled water bottles.

The All in All Rotate uses ISOFIX rather than a seat belt. The base comes as part of the car seat and cannot be removed. ISOFIX is the international standard for child car seat fittings in cars. [All car models manufactured after November 2014 will have mandatory ISOFIX features,]{href='https://www.halfords.com/baby-and-child/advice/what-is-an-isofix-car-seat.html' target='_blank' rel='noreferrer noopener' class='add-referrer-link'} except for two-seater vehicles.

This All Stages Universal i-Size car seat rotates for easy access. If you have ever tried to put a screaming tot in a car, you will know how helpful this feature is. Red and green indicators will let you know when your car seat has been installed correctly.

Usability

The car seat has a five-point harness plus an anti-escape system. Once your child figures out that they can take their arms out of the harness restraints, it becomes very difficult to keep them from doing so. Cosatto has included an anti-escape system which clips around the harness making it almost impossible for your little one to get their arms out and in turn keeping them safer. I love this feature as it means I can drive knowing my child can't remove their arms.

The five-point harness system is also easy to use.

Build

Cosatto is known for its adorable designs. From prams to car seats. This car seat is no different and it is available in nine different designs to suit your child's style. The options include pink butterflies, cars, foxes and some stylish gender-neutral options.

The only difficulty I found was the weight of the product. This is not a car seat that can be easily transported. If you are planning to leave the car seat in your vehicle then this shouldn't be a problem but if you plan to remove it regularly this could be an issue. This is because it is heavy, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing when you consider all the safety features.

Performance

This car seat has undergone lots of testing to ensure that it compiles with regulations. Your precious little one can stay rear-facing for an extended period in this car seat until they are 105cm (approx. four years old). Rear-facing is the safest way for children to travel, however, many car seats are front-facing from around one year.

As the name suggested this car seat can be rotated to side-facing. This means no more battling your little one into the car. It is much easier to connect the five-point harness when you aren't clambering over the front seat. Once your child is safely strapped in you can pull the trigger underneath to lock them back into position.

This car seat made my life easier as it can rotate to get my child in and out of the vehicle. It means that I no longer have to battle with and super-strong baby. Getting my child in the car safely is now a quick, stress-free task. I love the adaptability of this car seat. The car seat has a helpful guide on the side, so I know when to make adjustments due to height and weight. Cosatto has taken the stress out of car safety with this seat.

What changes would you make to the All in All Rotate i-Size Car Seat

Final verdict

Wholeheartedly I can say that I would recommend this to mums. It is an investment that will last until you no longer need a car seat. The designs are fun and I have received so many compliments on my car seat. My son often falls asleep in the car and he looks secure and comfortable when this happens. If you are looking for a car seat that will stay in your vehicle then I think this is a fantastic option.

In my opinion, the All in All Rotate i-Size Car Seat is fairly priced. There are cheaper alternatives, but for the quality and peace of mind that this product gives I think that it is very reasonable. As previously mentioned, I have spent lots of money on car seats, had I known when I had my first child that I could get a car seat that could be used from birth until he no longer needed one, I would have saved myself from buying an infant car seat, which he grew out of at seven months.

If I would make any changes it would be to make it lighter or smaller. However, I think with all of the safety features, this probably isn't feasible. Thankfully, I very rarely take the car seat out of the car. I have a Ford-S Max and can comfortably fit three car seats in the middle of my car. That said, if I had a smaller car this may be an issue, it is a fairly large car seat.
