We say: This features an adjustable impact shield to secure your child in place. It works like an airbag during a collision, helping to reduce the force of impact. We love the three- position reclining headrest, which helps prevent your baby’s head rolling forwards if she nods off. It’s easy to recline the seat, even with one hand.

Tested by mum Holly and Toby, 9 months:

This car seat is so easy to pop Toby in – it’s lovely not having to faff around with a five-point harness. It’s not especially light but you could move it between cars if needed. I’m not a fan of the colour, but there are other options available. The instruction manual is a little difficult to follow, so I worried about installing this incorrectly.

Tested by mum Sarah and Gabriel, 19 months:

Installation was easy, but Gabe needed the impact shield in the most extended position – I’m not sure this will be comfortable as he grows. Also, the seat needed almost the full length of the seat belt. I found it difficult to get him in – he wriggled down before I got the impact shield in place, then tried to push it out while I fitted the seat belt.

Tested by mum Amy and Scarlett, 3 years:

I was the most excited to try out this seat as I love the look of it – it’s stylish and seems well designed. The seat is very easy to install in our car, but the instructions aren’t comprehensive enough. I needed more guidance to be sure I was installing it safely, and fitting the seat belt in such a way that Scarlett felt secure wasn’t easy to do.
