What were your first impressions of the i-Spin Grow™ Signature?

Harriet: My first impressions of the car seat were really good, it's very eye catching and appealing. You could tell straight away it was a sturdy car seat and would last my little boy whilst he grew. Clearly a lot of thought had been put into the design of the car seat and I knew this was going to be a perfect car seat for our family.

Maria: First of all the signature range always looks more premium to me with the brown piping around the edges. My first impressions of this seat were great. The idea of it lasting for longer than the usual spin car seats is such a bonus as it's unusual to get a spin chair targeted at infants older than age 4 years. I have other spin chairs so i am already a lover of spinning car seats.

Holly: It looked so smart and of such good quality. The leather accents really  added  a good finish. It was larger than expected but this is a good thing as it will have plenty of room for the children to grow and ensures it is sturdy.

What did you like best about the Joie Signature i-Spin Grow™?

Emma: I liked the ‘spin’ feature the most. Being pregnant it’s becoming increasingly difficult to strap my toddler in the car so to be able to spin it towards me makes a huge difference. I like the fact that this seat can be rear facing and forward facing and has such longevity also.

Linda: The Joie i-Spin Grow Signature edition is built really well as a whole, and the shoulder ‘indicator’ is particularly useful in ensuring that my toddler fits in snugly within the seat, along with the adjustable headrest to make sure that it will continue doing so as my child grows in age. The two buttons on either side of the car seat is a really nice feature also, where you can spin the car seat, for example, if I want to conveniently rotate the car seat from inside the car on the other side of which the car seat is installed.

Nikki: The reposition of the spin handles compared to the original Joie 360 is great.
I like that it no longer has an Isofix leg, meaning the footwell is free to use as that all important extra storage space.

Were you happy with the installation of the i-Spin Grow™?

Laura: It probably took me 15 minutes to install the seat from start to finish which is brilliant. I often find these tasks quite daunting but as soon as I opened the box there was a clearly labelled QR code to help with installation; this was a simple 5 minute video which was so easy to follow to make sure I was installing it correctly. It was a super easy process with no hidden instructions!

Nicola: Installation was extremely simple, the instruction manual provided is brilliant and straightforward. Our previous car seats have always proved to have their challenges when installing for the first few times or if swapping cars! I also love the fact you get notified by sounds and lights that everything is correctly in place - what a great peace of mind!

Harriet: The I-spin grow was super easy to install. Once it is installed into place you don’t have to adjust at all. The installation feature of sound and light is great as this ensures it is fitted correctly and it is safe to be used. This way you know it is all connected and secured correctly.

Could you see yourself using this seat from birth to 125cm? (That’s about 7 years old).

Maria: Yes! Both my little ones are small for their age but one actually has a growth problem and will be using this car seat probably past 7 years old.

Holly: Yes the seat feels plenty big enough and the ability to be front or rear facing is advantageous. It also appears really comfortable so I know either of my daughters will be happy for years to come.

Emma: I think it’s a fantastic idea to use this seat from birth until 125cm. My 7 year old would still just about fit into it now and it would save on buying up to 3 different group seats in those years. I definitely would continue to use this for as long as possible.

Is there a feature you would like to see added to the i-Spin Grow™?

Linda: Maybe allowing the height of the base to be controlled, as we have to carry and lower our toddler to put her in the car as it’s a bit too tall for her to climb into in position 6 (sitting upright).

Laura: The only thing that I’d like to see added is a retractable/removable hood to shield your baby from sunlight; this would be particularly useful for the newborn stage.

Nicola: The only thing I would miss about using the iSpin Grow is the fact I can currently take our car seat out and adapt to the travel system we have. It's brilliant for my older child but for a newborn I'm wondering if I will miss the ease of removing car seat rather than removing just baby.

Would you recommend the i-Spin Grow™ to others and why?

Harriet: I would 100% recommend this car seat to others. It has several easy features to use, making a parents life easy when putting children in the car. The car seat is stylish and comfortable with lots of safety features. It is a reasonable price especially with it being suitable from birth to 7 years. An extra bonus is that it is isofix, meaning it can be secured in the car easily and with built in isofix there is no need to buy an additional base.

Maria: 100% yes as its a spin chair that goes up to age 7 which is the best idea ever! I love the Joie brand so I would definitely be recommending.

Holly: I really would and as a matter of fact have already done so. The ease of use is one of the key benefits and also the fact it lasts until approx 7 years of age, as not many carseats of such a good quality, that feel this sturdy and safe, do.
