Testing the Ember Baby Bottle System

Shriti has a five-year-old and a 2-month-old and is currently adjusting to the busy life of being a mum of two, and settling into a new routine.

Build

The Ember Baby Bottle System is BPA-free, which is a huge relief for me as a parent as it ensures the bottle is safe for my two month old to use.

I really liked the silicone sleeve too, I found it to be a practical feature that helps with gripping the bottle. The only downside to the sleeve is that it can make it feel a bit bulky.

Performance

The temperature control of the Ember Baby Bottle System is quite handy, as it generally keeps the milk at a consistent temperature, so it doesn't go cold if your baby wants a little break from feeding. I did however, found that it took a little longer to warm up than I was expecting.

Having the temperature control feature was extremely useful, especially for saving time. During late-night feedings, it was easier to ensure that the milk was at the right temperature.

For the most part, the bottle is leak-proof too which is great for when you're on the go. There could have been a few instances where it leaked ever so slightly, but that was usually due to not screwing the lid on perfectly, so with a little extra care it does stay secure and mess-free, and I'm not losing any milk when out and about.

Usability

Designed to be colic friendly, the anti-colic vent system seems to be effective, as I've noticed a reduction in gas and fussiness. I also found the nipple design to be decent for transitioning between breast and bottle. It might be worth noting that it might not perfect for every baby though, but it is a really good feature.

I found cleaning the Ember Baby Bottle System fairly straight forward too. The bottle is dishwasher safe which makes life so much easier! The bottle is designed with a wide neck too, so it helps with manual cleaning a lot more.

The only thing I found difficult to clean was the silicone sleeve, as it can be tricky to remove and reattach.

Final verdict

If you're looking for a high-quality bottle with temperature control and anti-colic benefits, this bottle is worth the investment. It's definitely on the pricier side for a baby bottle, but considering its features and performance, it offers really good value.

Overall, the Ember Baby Bottle System is a really good choice for baby bottle as it offers useful features such being able to control the temperature of the bottle and it comes with everything you need. If you're willing to invest a bit more for these benefits, as well as something that is safe and reliable, it's a worth while option that adds a lot of convenience to feeding time.
