What they say:

“The Mia bra will see you through all stages of pregnancy and through breastfeeding. It adjusts to fit your daily changes in shape before and after feeds, so you can be sure of a great fit no matter what's happening with your breasts. Seam-free and ultra-comfortable thanks to a very high 75% cotton content, it is easy to wear and affordable. It fits sizes 32 -38 B-F and is available in black or white.”

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Yes I would definitely recommend this bra to a friend/fellow mum. It is extremely comfortable to wear and does not sag or dig in, the fabric is soft but still offers enough support . The fabric is light and breathable and the back strap is nice and wide and stays in place. The weight of you breasts feels evenly distributed across your back.

How did this product make your life easier?

The clip at the shoulder is very quick and easy to undo and can be operated with one hand which is essential when breastfeeding it also allows you to feed your baby comfortably and discreetly.

I liked the way that it can be worn throughout your pregnancy and while breastfeeding and adapts to your changes in shape during this time. It will save a fortune buying new bras throughout this time. As one size fits a range of cup sizes it allows you to buy online confidently which is great if, like me, you live in a rural area and don't have time to travel miles and miles to get a bra fitting every few months.

What changes would you make to this product?

I dont think I would change anything about this bra, I loved all of it. But if there was one thing I would comment on it is the shoulder straps are a bit too long and I couldn't get them as tight as I would like.

The Mia nursing bra by Emma Jane is very comfortable to wear. The soft waist band and seamless cups make it soft on the skin and even after a long day, doesn't leave any marks on the skin. The adjustable straps are helpful to get the right fit. The strap that holds the strap in place whilst the cup is down is nice and thin so doesn't get in the way.

How did this product make your life easier?

The Mia nursing bra is very easy to wear and use. The cups come down and up easily and can be clipped in/out with one hand. It is comfortable to wear and easy to wash, and very quick drying. The material is soft and stretchy so can be worn for long periods of time without any discomfort which is a must!

It was incredibly comfortable and easy to wear for long periods of time, it was easy to wash and maintain. It is reasonably priced, I would like more support in the cups for everyday wear, especially being the largest cup size the bra fits but in its current form it is great for round the house and night time.

What changes would you make to this product?

I am at the larger end of the size bracket for the Mia nursing bra and the bra fit very well and was comfortable but it wasn't very supportive. It didn't support my breasts completely so they sagged more than in other bras. It worked perfectly for around the house and to sleep in but I would like more support in the front to make it an everyday bra.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

This bra is great, you dont have worry about it becoming mis-shapen in your drawer and it is really comfortable. It's a great bra to sleep in or to chuck in your hospital bag. I lilke the shape of the bra and how easy it is to use. I feel that the cut is flattering and it a go to bra throughout pregnancy.

How did this product make your life easier?

I like that I dont have to worry about how the bra is going to sit under my clothes. I know that it is going to fit and be comfortable so its quick and easy for me to grab out of the drawer without having to think much. It’s great that I don't have to worry about my ever-changing breast size as I know this is something that I can wear throught pregnancy and beyond.

Would you choose this product to win?

I feel that this bra stands out due to the cut and shape of the cups, it gives you a more flattering neckline. It's fab that I dont have the keep pulling at my clothing being paronoid that my bra is coming up higher than my clothes. I feel that the price is great at £13. It means that is more affordable for mums to choose more colours.

What changes would you make to this product?

I would like to buy this bra in more colours. It may be an idea to buy a twin pack too with one of each colour in for a maybe a discount price.

The bra is so comfortable. Swollen, sore boobs deserve all the comfort they can get and this bra provides it whilst also providing the support you need. It feels like a very good sports bra. The material is soft and light weight. It washes well. It is made to grow with your expanding bust line and boobs which saves on having to buy new bras when you get bigger.

How did this product make your life easier?

I would not say that a bra can make life easier as a mum as such but it makes life feel nicer in the sense that you feel comfortable. Running around after a toddler when expecting means you need support (which this offers) and easy access when feeding is also a must. The clips are very easy to undo with one hand to feed baby when you have other things to juggle too.

Would you choose this product to win?

The comfort makes this product stand out and the fact that it grows with you as you get bigger and as your boobs get bigger. It is lightweight and washes well. I have other maternity bras which are nowhere near as comfortable as this. There is no digging I (the sizing I would say is on the large side) and you don't feel the need to take it off the minute you walk though the door just to breathe and feel comfortable.

What changes would you make to this product?

The sizing is very generous but this is a pro as well in the sense that it is made to grow with you as you get bigger in pregnancy. The down side is that, whilst I have not lost much weight yet, it may be too generous when you do manage to lose weight but I would be quite happy buying a smaller size.

Tested by mum Amy Davies for the M&B Awards 2017:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this product to friends and fellow mums for sure. This bra has made my life so much easier. I absolutely love the fact that it is not a set size and it fits busts from B-F. As a breastfeeding mummy my size can fluctuate from day to day so not having to worry about how my bra fits or having multiple bras is perfect.

How did this product make your life easier?

The ease of the snap features for the straps is fantastic. It is strong enough to withstand everyday movements without coming unclipped but easy enough to unclip with one hand when you are about to feed your baby. The same goes for clipping the bra back up when you've finished nursing. This design couldn't be any better.

Would you choose this product to win?

Yes, completely. I have tried a few different manufacturers of nursing bras within the last 8 years and in my opinion Emma Jane bras are by far the best. The fact I can wear one bra regardless of my bust size means I don't have to worry about looking like my bra is too small when I am full and due to feed my baby. This feature of the bra is genius.

What changes would you make to this product?

It would be great if you could adjust the bra straps to become halterneck and racerback. Other than that it is perfect. It is so comfortable to wear that I even wear it when I don't need a nursing bra on. Normal bras are so uncomfortable after wearing these!! The fact it is a nursing bra is discreet under normal clothes as the clips are small enough to hide.
