Design
With a lightweight and compact design, the pump fits easily inside your bra with no tubes or wires on show and allows for hands-free movement, offering unparalleled portability, making expressing milk an effortless and discreet process. The breast pump also comes with a bra strap extender for comfort and a carry bag to enable pumping on the go, should you desire.
Adaptability
We're all different and our bodies are too, which is why the MAM Move Wearable Pump comes with three comfortable and flexible funnel inserts in varying sizes (15mm, 17mm and 21mm) to suit your breasts. These can be inserted into the 24mm silicone funnel to ensure you are comfortable as you pump.
Peaceful pumping
Breast pumps have come a long way from sounding like a mooing cow and the MAM pump is no exception. The Discreet Mode function has an adjusted, more quiet rhythm. In fact, MAM say the sound emitted from the pump is quieter than an average library!
Expression and Stimulation mode
Along with the Discreet Mode, the ‘stimulation mode’ mimics baby’s natural sucking behaviour and stimulates the milk flow while the ‘expression mode’ enables efficient expression.
How does the MAM Move Wearable Single Breast Pump compare to the Elvie pump?
It's not hard to see the similarity between the new MAM Move Wearable Single Breast Pump and the popular Elvie pump. But how do they compare on paper?
Both pumps are available to buy as single pumps (although you can buy the Elvie as a double). The MAM Move retails at £200 while the Elvie pump is £269. You get more breast shield options included with the MAM Move plus an Easy Start Anti-Colic Bottle along with the milk collector, whereas with Elvie you get two milk collector bottles.
The design of both pumps means you can control them by the buttons on the top however you do have to remove the pump to see how much milk you have collected. The Elvie does however have the Pump with Elvie app to control your pump remotely, adjust intensity settings, and keep tabs on your pumping history.
MAM Move Wearable Single Breast Pump FAQs
How do you sterilise the MAM Move Wearable Single Breast Pump?
All pump parts that come into contact with breast milk are suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher and any common sterilising method. Better yet, the Move Wearable Breast Pump milk collector incorporates a clever self-sterilised function. Simply add water to the base and pop it in the microwave for 3 minutes to ensure the pump is germ and bacteria-free.
How much can the MAM Move Wearable Single Breast Pump collect?
The MAM Move Wearable Breast Pump can collect up to 150ml (5 oz) per pump.
