What they say:
“NUK First Choice+ Bottles are clinically proven for optimal combination of breast and bottle feeding. The NUK orthodontic shaped teat mimics the shape of mother's nipple during breastfeeding, encouraging latch on. It features a soft zone, which adapts to baby's palate and an extra wide lip support which simulates breastfeeding. The latex teat is a natural material which is softer and more flexible, which can make it easier for some babies to adapt to. The Anti-Colic Air System minimises infant colic. NUK First Choice+ Bottles are the only bottles endorsed by the British Oral Health Foundation.”

Would you recommend this to other mums?
The NUK First Choice+ Bottle has been excellent for introducing a bottle to my breastfed baby. The natural feel teat has ensured that he can move seamlessly from bottle to breast. The bottle is made from high quality materials and the smaller outlet size is perfect for top up feeds and feeds on the go.
How did this product make your life easier?
The smaller size is great for portability and the latex teat has ensured that my little one takes a bottle when needed, meaning I can leave Daddy to feed whilst I lock myself in the bathroom and soak in peace!
Would you choose this product to win?
I would chose NUK First Choice+ Bottles over all others without a doubt. Having purchased a few other brands in my late pregnancy panic buy, the NUK bottle is hands down the best, especially for those of us wanting to mix feed without the complications of nipple confusion.
What changes would you make to this product?
The natural latex does seem to wear quicker than silicone teats, which is a shame.

The NUK First Choice+ Bottle was easy to use. I loved that it had a milk stopper inside to avoid leaking milk I used this when making my bottle up to avoid milk powder getting clogged in the teat. I also love the lid how easy it was to put on a get off but was secure when in my changing bag. I love the shape of the bottle and my son was trying to hold it at the same time as me .

The milk stopper saved me from having a clogged teat and from milk going everywhere when I removed the lid of the bottle. It seamed to lessen the amount of wind my baby brought up and he seamed a bit more relaxed than normal.

I think the test shape is brilliant and my son seamed to get the hang of it quiet quickly I love that it reduces his air intake therefore he has less wind. He is terrible for bringing wind up usually but was fine with this bottle.
What changes would you make to this product?
I like how easy the lid goes on and off but when stacking in my steriliser I had to use an extra section for the lid as it didn't rest on top of bottle. Apart from that I wouldn't change anything.

I would recommend this NUK First Choice+ Bottle, it is is great. When I received the bottle to test I was excited to read on the box that it’s clinically proven for combined feeding, which is perfect for my breast and bottle combined-fed baby. My baby took well to the bottle straight away, looked comfortable drinking from it and the bottle itself is just the right size and comfortable for me to hold. I believe baby took well to the bottle as the teat is really flexible and nice and soft and due to the unusual shape, which she took to mouth with ease.
How did this product make your life easier?
The bottle has an anti-colic air system, it has fewer parts to wash, and is quicker to assemble. I found this helped baby swallow less air as she fed longer with less breaks for burping, and when my baby was burped she didn't need as much burping, which makes us both happier.

Overall this bottle is great, it does what it’s meant to do. The bottle has a nice neutral unisex design and importantly is BPA free. I liked the clearly written simple packaging without plastic windows. The teat makes the product stand out, nice to see a more natural teat.
What changes would you make to this product?
I wasn't keen on the lid, I found it too flexible when removing, I feel it needs something in the lid to prevent the teat from leaking. The teat ends up leaking if the bottle isn’t upright, it pools in the lid, plus there are holes in the side of lid, you have to be extra careful if out and about with this bottle if any milk is stored in it. The teat is produced from a natural rubber latex which may cause allergic reaction, and although it was great there was a warning, it could be easily missed as it is on the base of the packaging.

As a mother to an exclusively breastfed baby I have the monopoly on feeding her. It’s important that in order to allow my partner to feed her to allow that time to bond that we use a bottle that not only she will take to but one that reduces the risk of trapped wind and colic. This bottle does that. I would recommend this to other mums as a good alternative to the breast when you are unable to feed your baby directly.
How did this product make your life easier?
This product takes away the worry that my baby will reject a bottle (on the rare occasion that i leave her with family and expressed milk) as she is so used to feeding directly from the breast. As the bottle better mimicks the breast in that she seems to need to work harder to get the milk rather than it just being tipped down her throat. She seems to work for and swallow each mouthful.

As my baby is exclusively breast fed I rarely feed her with expressed milk from a bottle. If I do need to she guzzles it and I run the risk of either her ending up with crippling wind or her bringing half of her milk back up. This bottle minimises that. She has to work harder and therefore swallows without gulping in air.
What changes would you make to this product?
A trivial thing but I would prefer the teat to be totally transparent so that after washing and sterilising I am thoroughly confident that it is clean. I am otherwise really happy with it. My baby feeds much better from this bottle than she has from others in comparison.

The unique design of the latex teat is akin to mother nature's very own. This made it particularly easy to feed my little one who is breast and bottle fed.
How did this product make your life easier?
To be able to switch effortlessly between breast and bottle means I can confidently allow dad and grandparents to feed my little one without worrying he may refuse it.
Would you choose this product to win?
I found this product easy to use, and unique in its design. There is something comforting about going back to latex teats as our parents did.
What changes would you make to this product?
When pulling the teat into the bottle ring, it's softness meant it was easy to pull right through.
