Made with all natural bamboo and food grade silicone, our set will give you the peace of mind knowing you are weaning your little one with the highest quality at a price that won't break the bank.

The Bubba Bear Bamboo also features a strong suction base on both the bowl & plate, as well as our new two-layer structured plate that's designed to last with your bubba even longer than before. Ditch the plastic for a weaning set with naturally anti-microbial bamboo, and save the planet one spoonful at a time.

We spoke to these real parent testers to get their review on the Bubba Bear Bamboo weaning set...

How did this product make your life easier?

Aleksandra: When compared to other weaning sets, this one makes life easier as you don’t have to worry that your baby will manage to lift the plate/bowl off their tray. My son loves feeding himself and with a non-suction bowl the food would be flying all over the room (including the bowl). Less mess to clean definitely makes my life easier as a mum.

Becky: The suction on the products is great, the baby cannot pull it off the high chair which saves on cleaning up and means less food wasted. The high chair also doesn't need to be completely dry for the suction to work unlike our other plastic weaning products. I like that it came with both a bowl and a plate option.

Jennifer: This product is visually very appealing to the eye. The packaging it arrived in and the product itself is of a very high quality. The suction cup, when it works, means I can carry on with any chores I'm doing without fear of my child's dinner hitting the floor. The spoon has also helped my child to learn to feed himself easily!

Would you recommend this to other parents?

Gabriella: I absolutely would recommend the bubba bear. I have bought cheaper options before this set which simply do not withstand being yanked by a determined baby, and the bubba bear has not failed me once and remains stuck down to the highchair throughout the entire meal. It's so simple to clean and still looks brand new as there are no food discolouration marks on the bamboo, which we have had orange staining with alternative sets.

Jade: I have already done my own research with my family I sent them pics and all the packaging etc and they were very impressed, I left it to them to find out whether they wanted to buy I just planted the seed... the outcome from 4 different Mums was they love it how it looks etc but they don’t love the price so based on that I couldn’t recommend.

Rachel: I would recommend this set because it is very aesthetically pleasing. The wood Is smooth and is no danger to babies. The suction pads are strong unlike other brands and they are the perfect size for children. The fact the spoon head comes off and can be put in the dishwasher is definitely a plus. Another positive is that the wood is extremely durable and won’t break easily.

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

Laura: I would certainly choose this product to win. I try to avoid plastic in order to help protect the environment but find many bamboo plates become stained. This plate however, is really easy to clean and has remained in a good condition. Also, the suction pad works better than any other plates I’ve tried.

Aleksandra: There is a lot of competition going on with the same bamboo weaning set, what makes this stand out is the selection of colours and really cute designs. I have another bamboo weaning set from a competitor and it doesn’t compare to the one above due to its durability. I found the packaging it came in to be well presented with a surprising level of attention paid to the design.

Jennifer: The wooden features and suction cup definitely makes it stand out to me. We are a very environmentally conscious family who try to do our best. I would definitely recommend it to families who are like minded. I do think the suction cup needs a little more work, as it does fail sometimes unfortunately.

What changes would you make to this product?

Jade: The only thing I would change would be the price as if this was more affordable to say parents on statutory maternity leave and minimum wage etc, I think this would open the market to a larger audience. I recommended to family members they were so impressed and it wasn’t until they see how much it was they were put off, again I would not change the item nor anything about it just purely the affordability factor that would prevent people on a low salary purchasing - I am one of those low earners who is on minimum wage and also my maternity no longer paying so I am speaking for myself and the comments from my family who are in a similar position.

Rachel: The only thing I would perhaps change is that the thickness of the bowl is a bit excessive. I understand it needs to be durable but if I had a cupboard full of these bowls I’d need a much bigger kitchen! They aren’t the easiest to store. Having said that, it’s very durable and cannot be too thin, otherwise it would lose this feature.

Laura: If I had to change one thing I would prefer if the plate was dishwasher/microwave friendly. Although it is easy to clean I find it would save me time if I could just throw it in the dishwasher with everything else. I also heat up meals for my son regularly so it would be that bit easier if I didn’t have to dirty another dish first. However, this would not stop me from purchasing the plate.
